The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui, hotel in Choeng Mon Beach

Situated on 58 acres area in Choeng Mon Beach overlooking the ocean, The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui offers accommodation with a fitness centre.

We booked this hotel as part of our Honeymoon, we were very excited to stay here. We were slightly disappointed when we arrived at the airport to find our pre-booked taxi with the hotel did not arrive. They were very apologetic however and greeted me with a bunch of flowers and a lovely cake in our room. The facilities are superb with beautiful rooms. Be mindful that walking to different locations within the hotel complex takes time, they do provide buggy's which pick you up but you have to allow 10-15 minutes until they are available. There are a number of different restaurants within the complex but be prepared to pay a higher price. We ate at the Thai restaurant which was exquisite. The spa facilities are beautiful, I had an amazing massage worth every penny (similar to EU prices). Overall a lovely hotel.

It’s very nice !! Not a large beach but it’s got a pretty view and the water looks fabulous especially with the sun out! You can’t see the sunset but can see the sky colour at sunset is nice. Sun rises are lovely

Choeng Mon is a good location as it is cheaper than Chaweng and still has plenty of restaurants etc. It is close to Fishermans Village which I definitely and highly recommend for families and couples looking for plenty of eat out options, nice hotels and beach side access. It is also close enough to Chaweng if you want to visit there.

Very nice! Lots of things to do.

Very nice! Lots of things to do. One of the activities I did is to clean the beaches. I could experience myself the destruction western civilisation caused by short sighted ideas profitable to some and so destructive to everyone! We are destroying ourselves with stupidity of our own creation. Plastic is fantastic but as far as I read 70% of mothers breastfeeding our babies with micro plastics. So hard to police myself to live life without creating piles of garbage which could be totally dissolved with system change of packaging! Government officials are pussies sucking up to corporations instead of thinking about next generations and how to solve such issues. I love Thailand and i will keep on cleaning that embarrassing footprint my culture poisoned the world with…

The Beach is not a world class Beach as the water is still standing and it is creating too much sea grass and plunbing muddy waters instead of cristal clear water which indeed is not the Case here. For swimming the Beach is a 5 of 10

Great chilled beach, lovely for swimming. Need to make sure you get in at the right spot as can be quite rocky in places. Gorgeous warm water and nice sand. Enough people to give it a good atmosphere without it being overcrowded

All in all, the hotel is good for stay cause: - the beach is sandy and clean - the location is good (lots of cafes right next to the hotel, the Fisherman village is just 20 min ride) - there is a shuttle bus to Samui centre and Fisherman village, but it's requiring payment - rooms are well-cleaned and well-furnitured - the hotel is well-furnitured and the territory is nice - breakfasts are rather various, fruit selection is fine

We loved the location of this place, the size of the villa worked for our family of 5 . They put a bed in a room for my 10 year old son. We walked to the beach every day it took 5/7 mins, lovely walk along the beach via sala resort. My husband found a great cafe to escape to before the teenagers got out of bed, cafe amazon! We spent a lot of time at Honey koh samui beach resort excellent food and pool.

Basically liked everything about the Honey Cottages. The staff were helpful and friendly plus being attentive and helpful. Accommodation itself very reasonable for the cost. Highly recommend The town itself is quieter than other locations on Samui but that suited us. There were some very good restaurants and a few bars.

I like the grounds and the privacy their bay offer, compared to many Samui hotel which share beaches. I love the bath tub, which was the most relaxing thing at night, in the wind . Breakfast was great…. Special shout it to the juice and shake maker at breakfast… now she was a blast in a glass. Spa services were also excellent .

We stayed for only one night as a sort of layover stop but wished we had more time!! The hotel was so amazing that instead of doing the little bit of sightseeing we had planned… we just stayed and played in the pools and relaxed with drinks and had an amazing dinner!!! Already talking about coming back one day!!! ❤️
