The location of Sa Thu was fantastic for exploring the Chiang Mai Old Town and the staff were always friendly and helpful with arranging tours and transport. The rooms were really clean and so was the pool. Although the rooms were smaller there was everything you need, and we barely spent any time there as we were out exploring.

The location is close to the temples and the market. It's perfect if you want to get out at 6am to feed the monks. Everything is within walking distance. The room is simple, comfortable and clean. The bed is clean and very comfortable. Hot shower and cold pool. Nice place to stay. Piet the owner runs the place and is very helpful and friendly.

It was in a great location. I didn't use the pool but it looked great. My room was quiet and the front desk put me on the 1st floor because I had a huge piece of luggage so that was greatly appreciated! Front desk had helpful info.
