The facilities in general were very well-maintained and the people managing the resort are unbelievably helpful. This is one of the most expensive places on the island to stay but I found it to be an extremely nice and comfortable Environment.

Luka, the manager is very nice and so is his Thai wife. Lovely people! This place is not near the beach and even the seaview is a bit limited but it is quiet and has a lovely garden area. I really enjoyed staying here. I rented a motorbike from Luka and easily travelled wherever I wanted to be. When coming back to Koh Mak I certainly will stay here again.

It's set a bit away from everything, so it's super quiet, the bed is very comfortable, the room is big. I slept so well there. It would be maybe nice to have mosquito net on the window, so that it's possible to leave them open at night instead of using the air con.

Our restaurant serves delicious Thai and Italian dishes (the owners are Thai and Italian!)
