The island is very easy to get to.
Very serene and calm and a relaxing holiday escape. The island has everything you need
We mostly stayed near our accommodation but you can rent bikes/scooters/sidecars from almost anywhere. There is a local taxi service that can take you around the place also.
Bring cash. Th island has limited ATMs and most places only accept cash.

This is a lovely little island with a full range of accommodation choices and loads of wildlife to see. The bathing is difficult only because at low tide it is muddy and rocky on most beaches. Just pick high tide to swim. Lovely people. Cycling is a very good way to get round.

Very calm, peaceful and relaxing!
Very calm, peaceful and relaxing! If you want to get away from society, noise, civilization and tourists, this is your place! Beaches are not the best but they are clean and empty. The most exciting thing to do in this Island is kayaking to Nok Island (30min) and once you arrive hike the trial to the top for the amazing view! One of the best we had in our whole trip in Thailand. Also, renting a scooter and discovering the island by motorbike, stopping in each beach. So safe and relaxed. I recommend to stop by Stella's restaurant for eating o for a smoothie, super home made food and good price and views by the beach. For sunset, either Sunset bar or Hiddenout beach. Perfect place for getting away from noise but not if you want to party and meet people.

The island overall is not very built up and seems a bit rural when driving through. However there are very nice restaurants, cafes and bars to go to. We rented a scooter and drove almost around the entire island which was a very cool experience.
We were slightly dissapointed though with the beaches which we were partly to blame for as we did not research before. The tide was far out for most of the day so we didn't get a chance to swim in the sea. The beaches are all very rocky as well so even when the tide comes in I'm not sure if we could've swum.

This is a quiet and undeveloped island - so if that is what you are after it is great. I enjoyed getting on a bike and exploring the different parts of the island: remote beaches, local villages, paddy fields, plants, trees and wildlife. There are a few hills that you need to tackle but this was part of the healthy enjoyment of the island. At high tide I walked over to the small island in Tha Khao beach and swam in the sea, lay on the beach and watched the Brahminy kites - most days I was the only person there. There are some other remote beaches on the North East coast that you can hike/bike/scooter to. The best lunch spot was Chaba Cafe which has a shabby chic vibe, really good local food and serves a good macchiato. I had a few dinners at the Sook restaurant at the Suntisook resort which again had some really tasty Thai food.
I found that you need cash everywhere on the island so you need to plan to bring enough THB. There are a lot of ATMs but they either run out of cash, are out of service and on top of that charge a lot to do FX i.e. flat fee + 5%.

The nature was propably the best also it was very quiet there. The resort was very clean and the pools in the apartments were the best.
The only problem was the food. The kitchen need’s
a restart. If Gordon Ramsay would come there i think the kitchen would be a lot better and he would help make it better.
We had a wonderful stay in Annie’s garden paradise. The bungalows are very spacious and sparkling clean. We loved the vast balcony, where we had the delicious breakfast that Annie left at our door handle every morning. She even offered to pick us up at the pier upon arrival, dropped us for a lamp festival and helped us organise a boat trip to the magnificent islands surrounding Ko Yao Noi.
The restaurant next door offers delicious food and it’s a five minute walk to a sunset bar (the bungalows themselves do not have a beach view).
The bungalows are equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable island stay. I was impressed by the attention to detail that showed throughout the design of these buildings. Our bungalow felt really new, clean and fresh, surrounded by beautiful nature. Loved the rice paddies and birds around too. Away from the 'hustle and bustle' of the island (very relaxed overall), yet close to restaurants, market etc. Would recommend and can't wait to be back!
- Very friendly & helpful staff
- Great hotel restaurant & breakfast
- Great pool with an amazing view
The hotel is situated on a calm island (Ko Yao Noi; visited during covid), so the atmosphere of the hotel is very relaxing. The location is great to check out the surrounding islands.
In conclusion, Cape Kudu is great if you're looking for a relaxing beach holiday while still having access to the spectacular landscapes of Krabi province.
Absolutely incredible hotel for our honeymoon - best we’ve ever stayed in!! Stunning design, secluded location and amazing attention to detail. It feels totally luxury. Kind, professional and helpful staff. The food and drinks were amazing with plenty of variety. We did a boat trip organised by the hotel exploring the local islands and beaches which was just us and a guide - this was a massive highlight. We were so sad to leave.
The property itself is very impressive, cosy feel and the room itself was very clean. We ate at the hotel 2/3 nights and the food was some of the best we had in Thailand.
We can’t commend the manager enough she went above and beyond for us after we almost missed our boat transfer, cocktails made by Laylah were fab.
We also rented a scooter for 250baht from the hotel which was really cheap and necessary on this island
Great stay in Ko Yao Noi. The staff was so kind and helpful, they made the whole experience on the island even better
The bungalows are roomy and comfortable, the shower/bathroom was big and clean, although basic. The unobstructed view of the bay and the sunrise was a showstopper! You can spot squirrels, hornbills, bats and more from the little terrace as well as from the restaurant terrace. Cannot recommend enough!
The room was a little paradise of its own. The outdoor shower was a lovely touch and the plunge pool was nice (only when it was warm outside though). The views are beautiful and so much nature to take in. Room was cleaned exceptionally well and the gesture of bringing the weather report for the next day was sweet. The Thai food in the hotel restaurant was really tasty, especially the green and yellow curry.
We had the most amazing stay on Ko Yao Noi at Suntisook resort. The owner is so helpful and helped us organize a transfer to our next destination., a family scooter and a visit to a fish farm. Shr also had great advice on restaurants (make sure to pay sea gypsy a visit!). and made sure we felt welcome at any time. Breakfast was super delicious with fresh fruit, pancakes, coffee etc.
beautiful place, beautiful family, incredible hospitality, the room was super spacious and clean, with a nice view of the water. to be honest, compared to all of our travels in thailand and around the world, we will never forget suntisook. and after eating throughout KYN, their whole fish with curry was still lingering in our minds. a million thanks!
Amazing value for money. Very friendly staff and easy to rent a bike from them. Rooms are basic but very spacious. A brilliant restaurant next door and 3/4 other restaurants a 15 minute walk away. Beautiful views. 2 bottles of Water provided in rooms every day. Walking distance to our favourite beach which was in front of Ko Yao island resort.
Damn near everything was fantastic. The tent was private, relaxing, and romantic. Tons of space, spectacular view, wonderful private pool. Super responsive staff, catered to our every need. Spa was hype. Excursion staff was phenomenal, island discovery tour was out of this world. Very secluded and quiet. Great small island.
It is a really nice, comfortable and clean place in front of the best beach of Koh Yao Noi. We felt at home, the moment we arrived. Very nice bungalows with everything you need in walking distance. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We are already planning on coming back.
Very friendly staff. They try to accommodate every request I had without any problem. Very good breakfast! The room was nice and spacious, immersed in nature. All very clean. The view of the sunset from the hotel is magic. It is easy to hire a scooter and go around the island,
Location was beautiful, the bungalows are very nice and right on the beach, it's so nice to walk from the room porch to the beach, everything was beautiful, great value for money. It's simple but also doesn't feel cheap, I highly recommend
Location is great. It’s a good opportunity to escape from reality and enjoy nature to the fullest. The hotel provides island hopping tours which was one of the highlights. Staff is very friendly in general. Food is OK.
We stayed in this hotel while remote working and absolutely loved it! The breakfast was amazing, the swimming pool has a really nice view over the Hang Islands, and rooms are comfy and extremely clean.
Facilities were first-class and the service was impeccable. The kitchen and bar staff made it feel as if we had private chefs. Meals were the best we had on the whole island. Highly recommend.
This place is fantastic! Our favorite stay for our whole Thailand trip. The room was huge, very clean and had everything we needed including a full kitchen. The staff were wonderful!
