The location was impossible to improve on. We could walk to the downtown or go to the medina and close to everything. The hotel is a an authentic hotel built in 1700s and full of history, and we received a book about the hotel when we left. Anyone who is unable to climb stairs would not be able to access the upstairs but the rooms on the main floor are accessible. Breakfast was served in the open courtyard and the staff were incredible. There is a great patio are and a room that’s cool in the day or just to relax in the evening. If you are looking to be a part of the experience I would encourage you to try this hotel. I would be specific about any mobility issues and there are rooms with stand up showers and fewer stairs.

Amazing staff- super friendly, helpful, and spoke great English. They arranged comfortable private taxis for me to do day trips. The guesthouse was beautiful, authentic, and peaceful- I especially liked the roof. Rooms were clean and comfortable with western bathrooms. Breakfast was lovely everyday. Location was fun because it was right in the medina, close to the market and city centre.
