La marsa beach was right outside our guest house.
La marsa beach was right outside our guest house. We could walk to the main part of the beach and the shops and restaurants. We were out of season, visiting during Ramadan so it was relatively quiet. Some restaurants were not open at all, some only during the day, others only at night. We managed to find somewhere to eat every day. I can recommend the Cliff restaurant, Pasta mi Basta (very accommodating with our friend who had various intolerances), Kenko food bar and Blu Blu (Sidi Bou). There was a supermarket which catered for our needs. We also visited the capital Tunis and Sidi Bou Said which had lovely shops and stunning views.TraceyUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0
Very clean and beautiful house.
Very clean and beautiful house. Esma and son were accommodating hosts. We were expecting a hotel rather than a B&B. Bed had partial walls on both sides with shelves so easy to bump head or body. Breakfast was the same both days—Tasty and fresh but nothing memorable. Several restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Bakery as well. Value for money seems a little expensive.

La Marsa is a great area for a single traveller without a car. You can easily walk around in the area, there are nice cafees and restaurants...and of course the Beach where you can stroll or run in the mornings or evenings and swim in season!

Theres so much artwork and artifacts scattered on all floors that ties in Tunisian history and culture with fantastic architectural feature that makes this such a unique stay. the rooftop views are amazing and relaxing by the small pool was great. the owner was very friendly and informative and it felt like he brought us into his family.
