Marmaris is a lovely place. Our favourite bar/restaurant is PUKKA on the sea front just behind Blue Port. The food is exceptional in every way, from how it is served and the quality of the produce. We stayed in December and dined there everyday.
You can travel very easily on the little buses so getting around is simple and you can now pay by card which was great.

Loved the city, my favourite spot for a slow relaxed holiday. We ate fast food ( Burger King) but the breakfast was perfect. Very authentic and lovely to start with. You can get around Marmaris by foot mostly and walk through the city. Easy to commute to and from the bus station.

Location is fantastic.
Location is fantastic. We have stayed before so knew to book the larger rooms as the others are very small. Very step stair access from the street and more stairs to your room and roof top restaurant. No lift option. They do carry your bags up for you which is what makes this a good choice. Many, many Restaurants down stairs to choose from and all fantastic.

We booked Marmaris knowing nothing about it and was surprised how loud and brash it was.
The locals are friendly but you get harassed to go into a restaurant or buy something.
Always ask the price first as just as we got there I got charged 500 lira for an ice cream on the seafront.
At night there is one street where the music is deafening and as an ex clubber myself I would say the decibels are way too high.
Naturally Marmaris is beautiful but what they’ve done to accommodate tourists makes parts ugly. The restaurants were more expensive that we thought and on average paid £100 for four people with a couple of drinks for two of us.
The old town was our favourite place to escape the madness. Our favourite restaurant was Fita with amazing traditional Turkish food and wonderful staff and no more expensive than the others but great food … well worth going to.
Also the boat trips to coves and a small village to escape the noise and relax.
Sad to say we wouldn’t return but that’s just us as looking for more tradition Turkish experience.
Also at the airport the security were full on and I got checked for drugs twice at the beginning and at boarding, never had this experience travelling before travelling and found off putting.

It is a great city for sightseeing.
It is a great city for sightseeing. Beautiful woods bordering the sea. Nice excursions and a variety of activities to do. Cheap compared to Europe or America. You can find reasonable accommodation at an affordable price. Important to book your trips before coming. I also booked a taxi from and to Dalaman airport. Cost around 50 dollars. Was very comfortable. People there are not proficient in English. You need to use a translation app. most of the time.

I've been to 53 countries, been to many beachy places.
I've been to 53 countries, been to many beachy places. While Greece probably has the prettiest beaches, Marmaris has the prettiest, nicest beach 'town' in Europe (the beach is pretty nice too).
Best service in Turkey so far. These guys do their best to make your vacation memorable. Friendly, sincere young people. Special thanks to Lyuda for helping Russian speakers :)
Food was beyond my expectations. I loved the idea of non-buffet. Lots of fish. I would like to thank for gluten-free options and lactose free milk!
Pool. Really good one.
No crowd. Quiet and peaceful place in the middle of woods. Perfect for couples.
Great beach, clean. Spectacular sunsets.
Great atmosphere! Great DJ! We enjoyed our escape. Will be back some day!
We booked a hotel room but were kindly upgraded to an apartment free of charge. This was a great start already. The room was very spacious with two balconies, a kitchen, a very beautiful bathroom, and a comfy bedroom.
The upgrade was a life saver as unfortunately the restaurants in marmaris are all very expensive and for no good reason because none of them seemed very good and just catered towards tourists. I couldn't find anywhere serving genuine Turkish food. So, being able to cook for ourselves was a blessing as budget travellers.
The location is perfect. Hotel (as all of them in Marmaris at the beach front) has it's own little beach. You can reach beach by foot, it takes you only two minutes, because it's in front of the hotel. The view is amazing. The hotel is within 20 minutes by foot to the city centre. But it's far enough that the nights are quet and not as loud as if the hotel was in the centre, which is great. The staff are all very friendly, nice and willing to help. The room was clean, air condition was working perfectly.
The reception staff was very helpful in every matter.
The food was delicious, and the location of the hotel is fine, with plenty of activities around.
There is a great manicure service available next door.
However, I would advise against using the beach in front of the hotel, as it is small and shared with boats, making it quite dirty. Instead, I recommend walking 300-400 meters to the left, where you will find a clean and empty coastline.
The outdoor pool is nice, spacious, and deep.
We had an all inclusive deal (food & beverages) and it offered a wide selection of dishes and several buffet stations. Staff is very friendly and provide a good service. Safety guards and staff across all the facility. You can find all your needs within the hotel premises including tours and activity booking (although it is 50%+ more expensive than what you can find in the city). They do have kids' club to help you have a break for a couple of hours when needed.
Fantastic place staff are just fantastic.... Room immaculate. Close to everything MIGROS just around the corner. Can't fault anything Although you have to pay for air con it's the same at every hotel in Marmaris same with WiFi it Blue Palace offer great WiFi TV with English channels Movie Channels and kids channels all great movies. A Pack for all this is is £60per week but we'll worth is as other hotels charge £45 just for aircon alone
While the hotel itself is great, true 4 stars, clean with good location and great restaurant&bar staff it has some big minuses.
But first with the pluses:
1. Great location
2. Clean
3. Good All Inclusive and good food
4. Restaurant and Bar personnel are fabulous! They are like Bees, work non-stop
5. Modern Hotel
6. Shout out to the Restaurant manager who works side by side with the personnel and keeps everything tight and tidy.
We had quite an amazing room....huge with lounges, a large balcony, and with the best water views you could possibly want, looking out across the harbour. As it was our first time in Marmaris, it was a bit of a shock how super touristy it was, which meant many restaurants and shops. That said the eating was good. Our hotels Turkish Breakfast was huge and the staff eager to help you in anyway possible
I was in the Emre Beach side (Emre Hotel is across the road, but all the main facilities/restaurant is in the Emre Beach side).
Was on the top floor overlooking the bar and the sea which was lovely during sunset but did have it downside (see negatives).
The food selection was brilliant and drinks nice on all inclusive. Always enough space for a sunbed either on the beach or round the pools.
A nice hotel with amazing views of turunc village, built with attentive to every small detail, very polite staff, breakfast was more than great with new dish every day and fresh omelet on request, they offer a variety of choices for lunch dinner with very reasonable prices.
Around half an hour to Marmaris city by Dolmus,
very close to turunc city center and local markets like Migros and Sok
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Z-Villas Beach Hotel surpassed all expectations! The villas were luxurious and beautifully designed. The customer service was top-notch, with a warm and attentive staff catering to every need. The food at the on-site restaurant was absolutely delicious, offering a delightful culinary experience. A perfect escape for relaxation and indulgence. Highly recommended!
Excellent view from the room. Great location, in front of beach and so close to everything (Shops, marina, restaurants, bars...). Wifi is so good (Knowing that I was on the fourth floor). Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Their restaurant is a must try (SO delicious food, best turkish foods that I've tried in Turkey).
I appreciate everything in this hotel!
The hotel with long history. We have got the upgrade - big room with sea view. The room was nice and big but a bit tired. It’s really pity that it’s allowed to smoke in the room coz it smells. We have ordered breakfast and dinner but as it was a low season the menu was ala carte. We liked it. I believe in summer is it a nice place to stay
We came for 4 days in Marmaris and we were pleasantly surprised by the Staff. Indeed they are the kindest people in Marmaris no doubt !!
The hotel has a good location , close to everything you need.
There is also a restaurant and possibility to watch sport events.
I totally recommend this establishment!
Cosy and feel home ..near the castle and shopping centre. Ideal location. The gentleman who runs the hotel he is a very nice person he helped us with parking our car 🚗 and advised us where to go and what to do. Thank you so much, Mr. Ali..wish you all the best.
The hotel is very good except of cleaning personnel. Stuff on reception is very polite and friendly, location is great, not far from the sea, but without all those noises and shouts from the crowded streets. There was everything what we needed in our room.
The hotel was super nice, very modern, clean, well-designed. The beds were super comfortable—we slept very well. The location is great, the sea is a very short walk away, and the hotel has its own sun beds on the beach. The beach is beautiful.
Location is perfect, by the Marmaris Port, you have averything accessible by walk.
Clean rooms, newly refurbished, small by everything is there and we didn't need bigger rooms.
Staff is friendly and responsive to our needs.
View from our balcony on the 4th floor was perfect.
Refilling of the water bottles and tea coffee everyday.
All the hotel staff were very lovely. Smile everyday. Will definitely stay here again, fab location.
