the location of the hotel was awesome. in the heart of historical place and just a few steps away from Galata tower. the entrance seems a bit strange though, but the person sitting as the reception is a very friendly guy with a good English. we stayed there for 5 nights. our room was located in the direction of Galata tower and we could see the tower from the window which made the room so amazing. even though you are in the heart of Istanbul, it is not annoying at all if you close the windows and you can easily sleep without noticing any sound from outside. we reserved our room without Breakfast but the breakfast is served in a wonderful Cafe nearby called Guney which is just around the tower and you can enjoy wonderful breakfast in a beautiful place. I recommend this hotel to all the people loving historical area and love to be in crowded places, you will definitely enjoy it.

This hotel is just in the middle of Istanbul center, in a very busy place, very very near the Galata tower (just literally aound the corner). The rooms are just the size enough for a short stay in Istanbul and to know the city.

The hotel is situated very close to the Galata tower and is at a walking distance to the Istiklal, Pera, and Karakoy. The room design was modern and nice. The room was tidy and clean with nice amenities. Pretty good wireless reception.

This is our second stay at the Duo and we liked every minute of it. The Galata tower view right out of our room's window was exceptional. The staff were so attentive and made us feel at home. The location is Great! It was so easy to get to every destination we had in mind either by walking or by the metro (şişane station) and the tünel (karaköy).
