I couldn’t ask for a better getaway ! This was my second visit to Ankara and my second stay at Kahya Hotel and definitely not my last one. I booked just one night before my flight and I got everything I asked for. The room was clean, spacious, very cozy with a breathtaking view of Ankara. The bathroom was very clean too. The breakfast was really good and fulfilling. The staff were kind and professional. I would like to thank Mr Murat who was super kind, very welcoming and helpful (even in my first stay). He helped me in many ways, with my luggage, by ordering my taxis and even with looking for a charger of my phone, without forgetting to ask me if I want tea or coffee every here and then, and I can’t thank him enough.
Overall, I’m really happy and thankful and I can’t wait to visit Ankara again! Thank you!

After two short trips to Ankara I must admit I am very impressed by the friendliness of the Turkish people, as well as the cleanliness and good order of everything. The new railway station can be a good example, one of the nicest railway stations I have visited, and I have seen many! For the food side, I am most interested to have nice breakfast, and that is something you can get in Turkey, with lots of different olives, cheeses and vegetables, a very tasty and healthy breakfast I guess.

It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul. Very walkable, safe for single women and not crowded with tourists. The metro is fantastic and there are many beautiful public parks!
Not many people speak English but we could get by with some limited Arabic and lots of hand gestures with accomodating city hosts.

I loved the city structure, peoples hospitality, as well as calmness . However in rash hours it was a bit annoying to reach the destinations. Since I already had been in Istanbul, I can fairly say that Ankara is much more beautiful than Istabul as a touristic city. I would definitely travel again. Not to mention that they have installed buttons for quick requesting a taxi which was nice.

I love Ankara - the awe-inspiring landmarks, such as the majestic Atatürk Mausoleum (I see it from the top floor of my hotel), stand tall as a testament to the city's proud history and the visionary spirit of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It gives such magic and confirms true glory – lights in the evening make me think of some truly enchanting atmosphere. The lovely streets of Ankara are adorned with stunning architecture, beautiful parks, and bustling markets, all reflecting the city's unique character and cultural diversity.
It is a bit old but still comfy hotel. The heating was a very pleasant feature in the middle of November and the temperature and the pressure it the shower helped to get warm after long walks around the city.
Breakfasts were quite nourishing and diverse so you won’t be hungry.
The location is great. There is a taxi spot near the hotel and it was the cheapest taxi in we’ve used in Turkey.
Location is excellent, it's in the city centre, with lots of cosy restaurants and bars around it and a young and hip crowd. It's a theme hotel with paintings of knights and princesses on the walls and wooden lion heads on the doors. Great wood/artwork. The room was spacious and cosy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially the evening shift. Breakfast was fresh.
Impeccable cleanliness, super quiet street and properly soundproof rooms and doors (rare for Turkey), reliable WiFi , hospitable and helpful staff. Rooms and bathroom size as of 5 star hotels. Highly recommended.
Everything. Great location. Bus station outside. Liquor store, grocery store. Close to train station. 2km straight road to city centre. Big breakfast compared to other hotels. Big room. Great price
