After a month of travelling, the Marmara felt like home!

All air-conditioned guestrooms are decorated with oriental details and feature private private bathrooms with a hairdryer. Some double rooms have 4-poster beds with embroidered clothes.

Marmara Guesthouse is small authentic charming house in Istanbul run by a Turkish family. It is located in the heart of the open air museum area of Istanbul which is located in the historic Sultanahmet area. It is only a few minutes walking distance from the most important Byzantine and Ottoman monuments of Istanbul, such as: St. Sophia (3 minutes walk), Blue Mosque (3 minutes walk), Topkapi Palace (3 minutes walk), Hippodrome (4 minutes walk), Basilica Cistern (4 minutes walk) and no more than 15 minutes from the Grand Bazaar and no more than 20 minutes from the Spice Bazaar. Furthermore, there are many cafes & restaurants serving traditional meals, shops of authentic goods, and entertainment places in the hotels district. We are surrounded with full of life but located on a very quiet and charming street.
