Our beach house is a wonderful retreat where you immediately feel like coming home. With the sand between your toes and the best sport for watching the sunset that never gets boring. Serene, stylish, and with everything done to perfection. During the day you can hear the breaking of the waves, at night you enjoy the sun beaming on the water. Perfect for those who love peace, space and the sea.
We are an entrepreneurial, warm family who have lovingly enjoyed Ayvalık for many years. In our free time, we like to stroll around the local market, drink rakı by the water and share mezze with our friends. We love simple, real moments: a good conversation at sunset, a walk through the narrow street, or eating fresh fish at one of the small taverns. Our favorite hiking spot is the Seytan Sofrası, known for its panoramic views of Ayvalık. We know Ayvalık like the back of our hand and are happy to share our favorite spots with you: from secret swimming coves to the best place for that unforgettable toast. Your privacy is our top priority, but if you ask us anything, we are always there for you -- as we would for our friends. We hope you feel right at home.
During your stay, you will be just outside of a picturesque town full of history, with narrow cobblestone streets and charming stone houses that whisper of Ottoman and Greek times. Both Ayvalık and Cunda are easily accessible from the house. Every Wednesday there is a local market: the ideal place to stroll past stalls full of fresh fruits and vegetables, home-made cheese and, of course, Ayvalık's famous olive oil. As a family, we love going there ourselves. Besides, Ayvalık is all about taste: from colorful mezze and fish dishes to a glass of raki on the waterfront. In short: welcome home, and welcome to a city full of history, culture and flavors. We hope you enjoy the peace, the market, the mezze, but mostly the cooling breeze on the balcony.
