Really amazing stay at the Hotel Taksim Residence. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They were super accommodating and could check us in early as our flight arrived at 5:30 am. We were able to borrow a pocket Wi-Fi and Istanbulkart during our stay which made life much easier. The room was very clean, comfortable, with a kitchenette which was so handy. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel is in a great location: a short walk to Taksim but in a side street so not noisy at all. Breakfast was large and delicious. Use of the washer/dryer was much appreciated. We were treated so well during our stay that it was hard to leave. Would definitely return and stay again!
United States of AmericaLocation is superb good, just 5 minutes walk from Taksim square. There is a independence street full of variety of shops with good price here, and you can take Metro or airport shuttle bus here. Service is kindful, they can provide sim card however the data connection is not so good, and Istanbul pass which can be used on Metro, ferry and shuttle bus, you can use one pass card for multiple person, in the weekend it's free for 3 person, and 10 lira for others. In the working days there is no free ride.
Italy3min walk to the Taksim square, and Istiklal street, you cannot imagine better location. The hotel offers wonderful breakfast, with plenty of items. The staff is fantastic, friendly, willing to help with any questions, and giving you plenty of advice. Everybody is nice, particularly Ali! He made us feel special during breakfast and even took care of additional room heating during cold days. Thanks a lot for such treatment, I will definitely stay in this hotel on my next trip to Istanbul.
GermanyOnly spent one night but was a great location near Taksim Square without all the noise. The staff were very helpful and friendly with check in and showing me the room amenities. The room was cozy and the bed comfortable; bathroom was fully stocked and the shower was fine. Will stay again my next visit to Istanbul.
