位在宜蘭縣三星鄉的安農溪是台灣之休憩河川最佳代表，而《安農左岸》正位於安農溪畔。屋主是大學建築及土木系教授(為宜蘭縣白鷺鷥造型公車亭原設計者)，深受專業薰陶的他，帶著留美生活的記憶，建構了這棟結合永續思維及美式鄉村風的民宿。《安農左岸》位於三星、員山、冬山及羅東的交界處，位於宜蘭各景點的中心，交通便利，鄰近羅東運動公園2.5K、羅東夜市3K、梅花湖6.6K、安農溪泛舟 4K、分洪堰公園1.3K、玉兔鉛筆工廠3K、金車威士忌酒廠 6K、幾米繪本公園10.3K、親水公園(童玩節)10.9K、傳統藝術中心13K、冬山河生態綠舟10.2K、 .......等等，民宿旁還有宜農牧羊場(1K)很適合小朋友，且坐落於安農溪畔，民宿對面就有自行車道，我們有自行車免費提供給客人使用，且另附設施可烤肉，後院也有戲水池可以給小朋友戲水，另外客廳有投影機及大型螢幕，可供客人觀賞影片(客人需自備電腦及影片)。
安農左岸的管理者為大學退休講師及她80幾歲的母親，以前是個教書匠，現在經營民宿，經常接觸到各行各業的人，反而覺得每位客人身上都有值得學習的地方，輕旅行為時下流行的旅遊型態，不但餐桌上提供給客人的是嚴選在地食材，也希望客人能放鬆腳步，在安農溪畔找到更多新發現。
