It's basically in the middle of the old street, so you could easily just walk out from the B&B and you'll end up right in the middle of all shopping and food everywhere! Was truly amazing. They also have this roof terrace on the top floor (dont miss out on this) where you can sit and eat and enjoying the view. It was raining the whole time we were there so it was really nice to be able to sit upstairs and look out on the amazing view while being sheltered by the wind and rain. The staff are very friendly too, but mostly speaking in Chinese. I would really recommend this place simply for the fact that the location is ideal.

Guests are advised to alight at 7-eleven bus stop and walk straight about 150m through old Jiufen shopping street.

989年委託台大城鄉研究所和台北市古風史蹟協會和10多位逄甲建築系受文建會委託進行九份文史采集時，即以施家民宿為落腳處，大約住7、8月二個月、等他們工作完成後就開始經營民宿。為應各地遊客的多元需求，除原有的雅房外，另增加四間套房，房間內外的布置是由施志鵬.侯雪峰夫妻和眾家好友，DIY集體創作，住宿客人均能感受到的主人的熱情和貼心。 現在為遊客需求，所以把雅房改建為全新套房。只剩一間海景雅房。
