The place is located on a hill with beautiful view, lovely garden and relaxing vibe. It’s about five minute walking up by stairs from the end of street. The house itself is traditional Taiwanese style building and the facilities are all simple, clean and tidy. The room is small but cozy and I love the rug they put on the floor. Staffs are friendly, helpful. Breakfast is just perfect. A perfect stay.
TaiwanWhen you visit Jiufen, the main attraction aside from the famous Mei Cafe is the actual road lined with red lanterns. This B&B is less than 5 minutes away from the end of this road. As I step out of the busy road I feel like I'm more part of the local community than a tourist just passing by. As I walked to the B&B, I saw some houses with doors wide open as the aunties and uncles play cards and mahjong. They will get you with a smile. Uncle (owner?) is also friendly. He knows enough English. As the number of tourists grow thin, it's nice to go back to the main road - It's really charming and less stressful. Other good points... - good water pressure - hot water - relatively clean bedroom - clean bathroom

FranceBest part was the breakfast. Typical Taiwan...several dishes with rice...best breakfast I have had in Taiwan. Hard to find the place for an English person and you hear a lot between rooms but the family is nice and it is my loss that I don’t know the language.
