“Nice and cool surrounded with beautiful hills. The breakfast and dinner were superb and tasty suited to my whole family. The staff was helpful and friendly. One of the friendly staff name 'Wu Ge' (五哥) helped to pick us up at Shifen train station/old street during the heavy rain and cool day when we want to return back to the hotel after visiting the tourist site in the evening. The hotel provided free lantern to light up and release it to the sky too. Well done !”

“The breakfast was great. They were very welcoming to us as foreigners and served everything in the best way. When it was just us, they brought all of the food to our table, and the next day they had it sitting out but had someone bring the toast to our table. I cannot think of how they could have done better. The location was absolutely amazing and had an incredible view. The amenities on property were so fun and unique, we had never been somewhere like it. The staff answered our every question and exceeded our requests beyond compare. We are so thankful.”

“We had a great time at the Very Happy Homestay, and highly recommend it to guests visiting the Shifen area. It's very conveniently located near the Shifen Waterfall and Shifen Old Street, and the rooms are well-maintained and very comfortable. The resort also has a unique, warm feeling to it as the staff picked us up from the train station, drove us around, cooked a delicious hearty breakfast. We even explored the playgrounds which are truly unique and incredible — like a giant swing zipline, giant climbing ladder, pedaling station. We look forward to visiting again. 谢谢，我们下次再来！”

“Staff are very friendly. Big garden with swimming pool, play facilities and BBQ place. Some play facilities are old but my daughter (7 years ) enjoyed a lot. April-May is firefly season. I saw a lot. A lantern is offered and we could make a wish and fly it! We will definitely go back with friends.”
