This place is a magical little oasis with an amazing vibe. Paco & Maria are excellent hosts, super helpful with all our requests and helping to book trips. We love you 2! They created a special place with a beautiful garden, lovely 3 pools and cute bungalows. The rooms itself are spacious, super clean with comfy big beds. You can also book yoga classes or drum sessions and every week is a live music event with local singers. Was a highlight for us as well. The breakfast was always tasty and every day something different. Food in general, I mean lunch and dinner, was yummi, too! Also a big thank you to the rest of the team, everybody is so friendly and welcoming. We would recommend this place 100%!!!❤️

The hosts, Paco and Maria are phenomenal!! I absolutely love them. Very friendly, met all my needs. The staff is also excellent. Ask for Hepi at the bar and Musa for taxi services. Amazing set of people. The hotel is beautiful too!

mr pako the owner is very helpful and active. he helped us with everything , tours and taxi booking and he even helped me fix my bag. the hotel is near the beach. the wifi is very good. there are some local shops near by

This place is an oasis of tropical, spiritual & happy vibes. It is an heaven for travellers that want a down to earth experience, beautiful garden & common areas. Salama is a super intimate place. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. We travelled around for 6 weeks in Zanzibar and Salama was easy the best value we got. The beach is just 7 minutes walk from the hotel. A big bonus is all the cosy places you can work or just relax & read a book at. At Salama we felt at home.

This place is just paradise. The staff and the owner are customer oriented and are doing everything to make you feel confortable. The room are really good and clean, the common area is perfect if you want to chill for a day or two at the pool (garden is just beautiful and well maintained). The breakfast is perfect, meals are good and cocktails taste great. And of course, there is wifi in all the hotel, which is not common in Zanzibar. I can only recommend !

The host Paco is the kindest guy ever! It felt like we are one big family. Really such an amazing experience. Also the bungalows and all facilites are so nice and there are a lot of plants so it really does feel like paradise.

The grounds were absolutely stunning with their gardens and sanely paths. No need for shoes here! The furniture was all refurbished from old wooden boats and the pools were perfectly cool with perfectly relaxing places to lounge. Easy to find a quiet spot to retreat.
