Staff is exceptional. Our hosts, Pia and Hassim are wonderful as well as Attenus , Rose, Flora, Hassan, Baraka and Amina. They have solid recommendations as to where to go especially since we had a car. They offer excellent food options and a hearty breakfast. You can’t beat tropical fruits.

Loved everything about the hotel - the young couple who owned hotel, they are so nice and welcoming. Staff are very attentive. Great beach with white sand. After 8 days of Kilimanjaro trek, this is truly paradise. There was complementary boat trip to snorkel and swim; I was lucky to observe professional coconut harvesting which happens every two weeks, then taste the fresh coconut water and flesh. We flew in early in the am from Kilimanjaro and we were surprised to find our room was ready!! So flexible and accommodating.

The breakfast was exceptional; we were served fresh fruits with lot of variety for the main course, and the sizes were satisfactory. Pia and Asham were very hospitable; always checking on us and going extra mile to help with everything we needed. Their staff are all friendly and professional. The hotel is amazingly on the beach, literally on the doorstep and we had a tour during a low tide that was offered free of charge.

The communication with the hotel was prompt. The owners had answers to my questions and were willing to problem solve with me to get me to and from the hotel as well as to and from my excursions. There was a welcome gift as well as a hand written note about the tides and the owners and staff checked in multiple times a day about my needs.

The owners were so nice and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. I loved the small hotel feel and the fantastic view from my balcony of the ocean. The included breakfast is bountiful and delicious. I also ate dinner at their restaurant and again a huge amount of calamari which was delicious but I couldn't finish. The hotel is within walking distance of the town (20-25 minutes) where there are several good restaurants, craft stalls and kite surfing shops. The beach is beautiful with powder-fine sand and the water was like a bath. I couldn't have picked a better small hotel to relax at after my safari.

Extraordinary service, Pia and her team are doing everything they can to make your stay unforgettable. “No” is never an answer. plenty of activities are available (bikes, canoes, reef hike, snorkeling, board games, books,…) After traveling for three weeks in Tanzania I can say their restaurant has the best food (including the daily changing breakfast)! I can also recommend their cooking class. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. We had a great time :)
