Not much to do around the resort as it is far away from most main attractions however the resort is quite and very large with plenty of sports facilities such as a tennis court, game rooms, pools etc. they also offer night entertainment that I felt could be improved. a number of restaurant to choose from and special pool and beach dinner nights were exceptional and very fun.

Perfect sunshine (if you are travelling from North Europe or Canada). Tourists are usually pestered in the beach areas (to be sold something). There is significant seaweed farming, so it is unfornatley a pleasant beach and ocean made deeply unpleasant by humans.

This beach is lovely, white sand, clear blue water that so warm. Lots of little kids around, not too many beach boys. Amazingggg views of the sunrise every morning. The community is lovely. Lots of nearby hotels and restaurants.

The village is tourist friendly even though I blend in quite well. We managed to walk a lot within the village as well as on the beach. There’s a number of grocery shops and one grocery store that takes cards with a 5% charge. The smaller hotels don’t take card so you’d need to carry cash.
Found it to be a very relaxing atmosphere without loud music, just avoid the masai if you didn’t come shopping or speak to them and support their local business 😅. They’ll surely try to sell you something.
Would have stayed longer if I didn’t need to get back to work the beach is endless especially in the mornings when the tide is out. Loved that there were options; surfing, kites, horse riding, snorkeling, amongst other activities.

I was traveling on my own, and I never felt alone.
I was traveling on my own, and I never felt alone. The staff had become friends. Every morning at breakfast (included) each guest, said hello to each other and some shared their experiences. Not required but a nice touch that just happened. Management checked in often, I felt well taken care of, but not over bothered. They made great suggestions on things to do. They arranged transportation for me to spend the day in Stone town and offered me a guide if I felt I needed one.
They paid special attention to me on my birthday, not expected n low key but a very nice touch.
I’d definitely go back n highly recommend!

A quieter place to relax, both in the resort and on the beach. A large garden full of shade from large trees, but not very comfortable in the rainy season. On the contrary, it is ideal in the dry season. Beautiful two pools, especially the large one at the back of the resort. The private beach is one of the best in the immediate area. The village 500m away is quiet, more trash on the beach.

Everything was perfect, really enjoyed my stay!! The staff is AMAZING, big thanks to all of you! The food is GREAT, I couldn't stop eating...! The hotel is small (not a fan of big hotels), has a pool which is a big plus since there is no swimming in the ocean on low tide, location is quiet with options to dine out though (as I said there is no reason to do that because the chef is sooo good). If you're looking to relax right on the beach and enjoy goof food and cold drinks in a very friendly atmosphere, no need to look any further! :)
Unfortunately I made the reservation late and I couldn't stay as long as I would have liked, I went to another hotel nearby but I came back every day for the beach, the fabulous food, the pool, the spa and especially for the people there who are wonderful. Also for the live music and acrobat shows that took place several days a week. I had nothing to complain about the accommodation conditions
I have booked for my sister she loved a place
The rooms were clean, very conformable and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to upgrade to the Executive room to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel anyone visiting Zanzibar
Without fail Management and the rest of the team are wonderful
Thank you for hosing us we will definitely comeback
This hotel was a really nice surprise. Big, modern and new resort located right on the beach. The food and the drinks are super good at the hotel. Therefore, I recommend to go for the all-inclusive option. The outdoor restaurant located close to the beach with a sea view is amazing. The rooms are big and modern. Would like to come back!
The staff at Mambo resort are very helpful, and they pay attention to individuals. They served me and my wife always with a smile on. They checked on us if we needed anything. I really enjoyed the special dinner at night at the beach! Nelson, Ben, Doris, and Sajin were awesome! I can't wait to return to Mambo Beach Resort.
This was by far the best property we stayed at in Zanzibar. It is right on the beach and it has everything you need for a perfect, relaxing, unforgettable vacation.
The breakfast was delicious and was prepared and served at the time you requested.
We absolutely loved everything about this property!!!
Nice and clean beach side resort, with lots of likes. it’s not new, but it’s maintained and clean. rooms are nice and cozy and have AC. food in the restaurant is good, pizza especially, but a bit on pricey side. we had similar/lower prices of food at 5* hotel on the opposite side of island
The Hotel ist really amazing. It has lovely gardens 2 pools and is situated direct at the beach. Thé atmosphere is lik to be home with your family because the staff is really heartily.
Thé breakfast is great and varies from day to day with Zanzibar dishes.
The room was well planed out. Very clean. Staff were incredibly friendly, nice and accommodating. The hotel was off the beach, just a short walk too, but the distance made the quiet that much better!! Sometimes the waves keep me awake
The food was really good compared to other hotels we have stayed at on the Island. We have been to Zanzibar 3 times, and this was by bar the best Resort. The Hotel is quite expensive, but you really get what you pay for.
We liked the location which was close to the beach (less than a minute walk and the staff. They were so friendly to us and always had a smile :) The hotel was beautifully presented and the pool was lovely and clean
