I particularly enjoyed the friendly staff, who became like a family to me. This was my second stay at Sotni, and both stays were exceptional. The hotel is modern, clean and very comfortable, in a quiet, mostly residential area not far from the Metro and a local shopping area that includes small merchant shops as well as large supermarkets and a shopping mall. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for business travelers.

The staff - we started being quite friendly quite soon. The room met all expectations (which were low for paying 19 eur per night for double room). We had all we needed - beds, fridge, shower, everything was fine (value for money). The food was good and we enjoyed the chats with the staff who tried to understand us even though we only speak English - and were happy when we tried to speak in Russian. Staff reacted quickly when we needed more shower gel and shampoo. The air conditioner was working fine in a very hot day.

Honestly I was skeptical to stay due to not enough reviews. But the staff was amazing, the food was delicious. I had the omelette eggs for breakfast and the oatmeal, for dinner I enjoyed the potatoes pancakes with meat, and for lunch I just had soup. The staff does not speak a lot of English but they were very helpful since the first night. I stayed a week here with my kids, and it they really made us feel welcome and at home. Location is within walking distance to the metro where there’s a lot of food choices and stores. Also Lavina Mall is very close, very cool mall with a roller coaster inside, movie theater, many clothing stores and 2 food courts areas. I believe it is the biggest mall in Kiev, from what I read online... at it is quite big, my kids loved all of the rides, as there were no lines to get into them.
