My husband and I had such a magical excursion staying at this cute condo right across from the beach. The beach is definitely OK for laying out and if you are comfortable going in pretty big waves on a Rocky Beach then this is for you! There is an amazing restaurant outside seating right over the water next to the park across from this condo. And if you continue down the main street about seven minutes downtown area with tons of restaurants and shops! We didn’t even know it was there until we were leaving, unfortunately. the owner of this apartment is so nice and she is so accommodating! You have your own bathroom and your own room and the kitty cats room freely. She’s very gracious and sharing her home. I was surprised by the home share because I didn’t quite understand what that meant but she was super easy to hang out with. Respectful of our privacy. Great stay and great price.

It was a very quiet area with access to all points of interest. Check in was seamless. The accommodation had all the necessary items plus a great selection of beach items. It was very comfortable and nice to have AC. Parking was off street and we had an outdoor shower to wash our dive gear. Plenty of towels. We had access to washing machine which was very nice.

I had been to Kailua-Kona before and really liked the feel of the downtown area. Unfortunately since I was last there they have introduced paid parking just about everywhere that makes it very expensive to go out anywhere when you add in a cost of $15 per hour to park. My advice would be to stay at one of the hotels within walking distance of the downtown area if you want to enjoy the restaurants there.

The place was infested with German cockroaches, and I mean infested. There is only ac in the living room, so the 2nd bedroom was so hot! When we got there all of the towels were in the dryer so we had to fold their laundry before we could even settle. The furniture is old and dirty. The bedsheets were dirty (make up smudge on sheets and hair, so we had to wash the sheets before we could get into bed.
On a positive note, the location is great, the view is amazing, and the hot water is hot.

I enjoyed my stay at Kona
I enjoyed my stay at Kona
I was upgraded to an oceanfront view, which was fabulous even though I didn’t eat at restaurants I prefer cooking my own meals. I had a very relaxed vacation. Wish I could’ve stayed longer, but I do want everyone to know that this place was fabulous.
Location of the Sea Villages was centrally located, close to town and beaches. The unit #3113 had probably the best location in the resort, a few steps to the pool deck and an unobstructed view of Kailua Bay. Really enjoyed the beach equipment (boogie boards, beach chairs) that was left for renters to use. The host was very accommodating with our check-out request.
Great location, very nice resort, good facilities for a longer stay - fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, tumble dryer. There is a grill in the garden. Clean pools. The entire resort is well maintained and beautifully decorated, very nicely planted.
The hotel is located near Kona's main street with restaurants and shops.
The room is quite spacious with a large balcony overlooking the hotel's garden
