Quiet neighborhood. Neat old house. Nice deck to escape crowded breakfast dining room. Hosts were terrifically accommodating and helpful.

The room was roomy, clean and charming. Bonus to have two luggage stands available for our use. The bathroom more than functional.

Loved the attention to every detail. Wonderful house. Great breakfast. But most of all the hosts were absolutely phenomenal. Thoughtful helpful and great conversationalists. Would love to come again.

Breakfast very good and they took great care of us

Wonderful downtown location, convenient to food and entertainment. Historic and charming!

Linda and Mark are the best! Linda made us feel right at home and took care of us way above and beyond expectations. This place is so amazing and the location is stellar as well. You can walk to the bus and ride the bus everywhere. And you can get to all the nice spots downtown by just walking. Thanks for a heavenly trip!

Breakfast and host/guest camaraderie excellent.

Linda was warm, funny, engaging and very helpful in suggesting activities and places to visit during our Juneau stay. She was also very accommodating with our pescatarian diet, her breakfasts were absolutely healthy and delicious - and oh the variety - so many dishes and hearty portions. What a joy is was to meet her and Mark, they both went way over normal standards to see if there was anything we needed. The atmosphere of the historic home was like stepping into your grandmother’s home - toasty warm, lots of board games, books, comfy chairs you could just sink into. We would absolutely recommend the Alaska State Capitol Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for a lovely home-away-from-home experience.

Built is 1906 the facilities are a bit more rustic than a first class hotel, but really, they were part of the charm and character of a beautiful old home. The cost was fitting with the area, and the entire place was like a museum with indoor plumbing and TV's in every room. Besides where else can you see a momma bear and cub in the street outside the front door?

This is where you come to stay and feel like family. We really enjoyed the family style breakfast. Sitting and listening to the stories of different travelers was fun and interesting. We had the best experience and plan on returning soon

Whats the best transportation from the Airport? Can I eat breakfast later then 8 am?The Inn is located 9 miles from the airport, and taxi's, Uber or Lyft are available for the ride into town. We serve breakfast family style at 8, and guests can choose to come later but we can't always guarantee if there will be food left over.Answered on March 19, 2021

Is there an elevator? Is the room with 2 twin beds on the first floor or not? Thank youThanks for asking. No, we have no elevator, just a set of stairs. The Focsle room, with two twin beds, is located on the garden level of the Inn. It has a private entrance, down a set of stairs from the main floor of the Inn.Answered on March 29, 2021
