Very nice house and the room and grounds were all well kept and clean. Jim and Jill were both very pleasant and the food was very good. The in room fireplace and the open hot tub on the patio were very nice amenities to have.

Jim was a great host, very funny. He gave us names of places for discounts. It was a good location for us and reasonably priced. We went to Columbus on our way in and spent the rest of the Friday in Nashville, Indiana. We love Brown County and we hiked in the morning on Saturday and visited a winery in the afternoon. All locations of places we visited were a perfect distance from the Inn. Breakfast was delicious, probably the best breakfast we’ve ever had at a B&B and enjoyed meeting others and finding out where they ate, etc. Our room was quiet but we also had the indoor air conditioner on all night because we were told it is a very warm room, and it was. We like white noise, so that was actually a plus for us. Moon Glory is a small room, we would probably rent a bigger place next time. Thanks Jim, we enjoyed!

    Yes the best side of our driveway is the left side it's all paved the right side has some gravel repair

Jill and Jim would like to welcome you to the Lil Black Bear Inn. Whether searching for a new experience or looking for a romantic getaway, it's our passion of hospitality and lifelong dream of running a business that drives us towards being the best we can be. After many years of foster care and helping families, our drive to fulfill our dream of running an inn grew stronger each day until we finally established the bed and breakfast in 2016. Together we found inspiration for the inn's name from a daylily grown in Indiana. The name of the daylily honors the late Little Bear - a black Pomeranian. The room names themselves are derived from flowers: The Lily, The Morning Glory, The Moon Glory, The Lavender, The Bluebell, and The Petunia.
