Views were spectacular! Service in the restaurant was wonderful. Even though it was only a buffet, the menu was different and delicious every day. The beds were very comfortable!

The check-in was courteous and professional. The room was very nice and clean and furnished nicely. The coffee maker was a Keurig type maker and the coffee furnished was very good. There were plenty of outlets near the bed for charging our phones, tablets, etc.

We always love staying here, it"s our favorite retreat. The views are spectacular and there's a lot of hikes nearby. The restaurant is excellent and you can't beat the views!

  • How far is this located from the starting point of Appalachian Trail?
    The approach trail begins in the park behind the VC and travels up the Falls and out to Springer Mtn approximately 9 miles.

    We have 4 pet-friendly cabins and 2 pet-friendly rooms in the Lodge. They are all "site-specific" so ask when booking.

    The Lodge accommodations do not have kitchens. There is a common use microwave on the third floor of Lodge.
