Clean and comfortable. Great location, right on the water. Friendly, professional staff from the front desk to housekeeping to the kind gentleman on the dock who explained about the fish in the area. Lots of parking, too.

went in the off season and it was great. Not many people so it was quiet. Our room had views off both sides of the room.
I've been going to Boothbay Harbor for years and I love it.
I've been going to Boothbay Harbor for years and I love it. The coastline is beautiful and there are no crowds like south and north of there. And there us enough to keep you busy, especially if you like art galleries!

The king superior room is anything but superior, the only thing king was the bed, no continental breakfast even though it is on the room map at the front desk, Wi-Fi is intermittent, the lounge/restaurant is closed 2 nights a week, parking is inadequate for the number of rooms, your parking 2 lots away from the building it you don't get a spot early, bathroom is undersized for a large person. The building itself is dated and in need of upgrades and cleaning, mold was growing on our balcony. In my opinion the room was extremely overpriced for what you receive.

I love Boothbay Harbor; it's shops, restaurants and expeditions are plentiful and fun. The atmosphere is amazing and the scenery is stunning! I took Cap'n Fish's Puffin Cruise and was lucky to see many puffins and a humpback whale. Don't forget the Fudge Factory and Salt Water Taffy shop that have been there at least 50 years.

Tiny resort town with several activities to choose.
Tiny resort town with several activities to choose. We enjoyed the nearby Maine Coastal Botanical Garden. Weather was iffy so we didn't look into boat tours or the beach. Not far from Wiscassett which is a quaint town with great seafood.

What a beautiful, friendly town.
What a beautiful, friendly town. We arrived looking for a specific location (SSV Ernestina-Morrissey) and because it was fall, there weren’t too many people to ask for directions. We found a local man who walked us (in our car) to the dock! We had a lovely stay at the Tugboat Inn right on the harbor. Our dinner at Harborside 1901 was amazing, a very friendly construction worker guided us to Waves for breakfast (a must!), and we had a great sunny day walking and shopping. Driving is a challenge with all the one-way roads, but we parked and enjoyed exploring on foot. Sea Bags Maine has incredible bags made from sails. We wish our stay could have been longer!

Boothbay Harbor is nice enough, but somewhat on the "touristy" side. We visited in late September and it was fairly busy. I imagine that in the summer it can get quite crowded. The surrounding area is interesting to explore and the nearby Botanical gardens are very impressive and very much worth a visit.

The hotel was quiet. Check-in desk attendant was friendly and welcoming. The continental breakfast was very good and plentiful, and the staff member preparing the breakfast was friendly and helpful. I liked the heated pool and hot tub outside the Flagship Inn. There are many services nearby - a restaurant, grocery store, gas station, and an ice cream shop to name a few. And it's only a few minutes by car to scenic Boothbay Harbor.
Spend the extra few dollars for a balcony to overlook the harbor. This is New England at its very best. The Inn is quiet and a nearby footbridge connects to the town where there are great shops and restaurants. While you're there, visit the botanical gardens and the Martine Museum in Bath. Maine has some amazing gems tucked away. It's not just about lobster.
great secluded location, generous size room with fantastic view, nice terrace, other great outdoor seating areas. SUPs and kayaks and saltwater heated pool. breakfast with a view. nicely renovated and love the marine style decor. it is 5 min to the restaurants in Boothbay harbor
The hotel is excellent and well maintained, and is located on the harbor. We had a shaded balcony that faced the harbor, which was a great bonus - fun to see the fishing boats come and go. Very friendly staff and close to restaurants and shopping area. Would come back anytime.
Hotel well located at the end of the point and it offers amazing views on the sunset (right in front of the hotel). Close enough go Boothbay Harbor at walking distance (35-40 minutes). Perfect if you travel with your dog... very dog friendly. Cocktail's price expensive.
Extremely comfortable, spacious room, quiet; Beautiful view of the woods; Pristine landscaping; The owners were extremely helpful and very kind. I highly recommend this location for anyone wanting to stay in the Boothbay Harbor area. I enjoyed my stay immensely.
Kristen was a very gracious hostess . She was helpful with our bags when we pulled up and gave us pointers for visiting places .
Her blueberry pancakes were delicious!
We would recommend her place to people visiting Boothbay Harbor !
The breakfast was only okay, the parking was fairly restricted as most of it belongs to the hotel next door and where we were allowed to park was very limited and far from our room
I did love the location and view from our room!
We really loved this inn. The location was wonderful, the staff very friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable and the added bonus was a delicious breakfast cooked onsite. Great spot for a stay in Boothbay Harbor!
Pam, Tammy and Lucy were very helpful, polite, real people, sincere and very good at helping me as a first time visitor to Boothbay Harbor and Tugboat Inn and for directing us to our room. Location is wonderful.
The Hotel is perfectly located at the waterfront with a lovely view and it is very quiet: end of dead end road.
The staff at the reception was extremely nice and welcoming.
We loved the location of the Inn. Right on the water, next to the Tugboat Inn Restaurant. Also could walk to the city of Boothbay Harbor, shopping and restaurants.
