Buffalo is a quintessential small, western town.

Buffalo is a quintessential small, western town. Full of folks that exude that wonderful, warm "Western Hospitality" Wyoming is known for. If you are luck enough to be there this summer (July 18-21, 2024) be sure to stay over for Longmire Days. If you don't know Longmire, just keep on driving. Can't speak for other restaurants, but if you enjoy family dining and authentic Mexican food then try and get into Papa Binos for lunch or dinner. This is "FAMILY" dining for real. It's Papa's house with a limited number of tables and family members cooking, serving and the little ones running around in the yard. Terrific food!!!

We didn’t like that we didn’t get the room we booked and it was too late to cancel to find a different place! Also the room was dusted and dirt behind bathroom door that wasn’t ours! Overall the place was okay and staff friendly. I especially liked the young man who provided the breakfast, he was very nice and helpful!

I stayed for one night during a long cross-country trip. Check-in was quick, and the desk attendant referred me to a good restaurant nearby (one of the few that was open late on a Sunday night). Wifi, TV, bed and shower were all excellent. Breakfast was ready when I woke up, and I was back on the road before 8.

Buffalo is a very nice little town with friendly people, lots of history, neat little shops, gorgeous scenery nearby and great food and lodging. I highly recommend it! The Occidental Saloon is a great place to eat. A drive to Ten Sleep is worth it as the scenery is incredibly beautiful. The Blue Gables Motel is a wonderful place to stay as it has Cabins and a place to cook outside and a fire in the fire pit in the evening. It is so charming.

Buffalo is an interesting town, that I usually just pass through on the way to somewhere else. A relative is moving there now, so was helping her move. Plan on checking out the local stores etc, this summer when we go to visit relatives.

Great little town loved the atmosphere and the people, the occidental hotel and saloon is a must see. Built in 1880, most of the bar is still original. The owners are wonderful people with tons of knowledge of the hotel history. If your looking for shopping Sheridan is only 35 minutes north and is another awesome western town in itself.

More then just a hotel room with kitchenette, one bedroom with king bed and living area with sofa sleeper - sofa sleeper for my son and the bedroom for me. Everything is BRAND NEW too! Great location could walk everywhere. Buffalo has such a unique character with the Occidental Hotel for good food and music just up the block and a great wine bar right next door. There was even homemade rhubarb bread in the freezer for us. Great for breakfast. The locals of Buffalo are so friendly and welcoming too!

Very nice people on property and all accommodations provided with ice machine, ac cold, breakfast included and nice big comfortable room with parking. Next door to steak house after long drive. Staff knew the area and how to advise. Very happy with all aspects of this place! Gave us a late checkout too, so couldn't ask for more.

The location was absolutely perfect beside the river. We could walk to breakfast at The Bee Cafe and alot of other amenities including the fabulous museum, saloon bar, restaurants, shops. It was nice to have plenty of space compared to a hotel room. It was very clean and the tv living room and bedroom, with Netflix.

Not a real big breakfast eater but it made due for what I needed and my wife. Location of hotel was great for us. Liked the ideal as we travelled with a dog that my request for a ground floor room was granted. Nice that we also had a inside door to get to breakfast. Hotel has a elevator which most of them don't.

Door to officevlocked and they wouldn't answer phone. I ended up driving to Aheridan to find a room with only 1 bed and only got 2 hours sleep because of how long it took to find another place to stay without being charged for this awful hotel

Great little log cabins. I like the style a lot. Space outside in the park area for a barbecue available. Got a very good recommendation for a pizza place (Pie Zanos) in town from the hotel staff
