Service animals that comply with ADA regulations and follow hotel rules, are permitted to stay with guests during their stay.

So our pool is seasonal and it opens up depending on the weather. It is best to call us closer to April to find out if it will be open. Our hot tub however is open year round for your pleasure, 10am-10pm everyday. Each room has free coffee and a maker inside, the casino also has free coffee in our Lily Pad Cafe. If you are looking for more of an actual coffee house setting we recommend the town of Arcata for that. There are plenty of coffee spots there, most all locally owned an operated, just about 15 minutes away.

There is a variety of beaches in our area, though we are more inland, nestled in a valley, it is a quick drive to most of the beaches in the area. We are off of the 299, to reach the coast you hop on the 299 West and it will direct you straight to the 101. If you would like a beach that is just sand dunes and bay views you would take the 101 South. The beaches we recommend South are Mad River Beach, Ma-le'l Dunes, Manila Dunes, Samoa Beach, and the North Jetty. Those beaches are between 20-35 minutes away, all along the peninsula between Arcata Bay and the Pacific ocean. If you would like beaches that are a bit more scenic with beautiful cliff sides covered in Redwoods, you'd take the 101 North. A few of the great beaches North of us would be Moonstone, Houda Cove, Luffenholts Beach, Baker Beach, Trinidad State Beach, College Cove, and Patricks Point State Park. Those are all within an hour of us on 101 North. A little local secret if you're looking for some stunning views, some of those beaches are off of the Scenic Drive. That is a great drive down a funky road right a long the coast. From the 101 North, take exit 726A (Westhaven Exit) then a left on Westhaven Road, a right on Scenic Drive and just follow the road from there. The Scenic Drive pops you out in the town of Trinidad, a small but beautiful little beach town.

Guests may arrive any time before 2am with no problem.

Attached bathroom is just stating that all rooms have a bathroom in them, there are some hotels with detached bathrooms but we however are not one of them. We also have bathrooms that are ADA accessible, you just need to put a note in your reservation or call the front desk.

Our entire hotel is non-smoking. We are attached to a casino that allows smoking inside their area, but our building has a strict no smoking policy.

The river is less than 2 miles away from our hotel! But we do not provide access to the river.
