Only reason to go to Rochester was the Mayo Clinic.
Only reason to go to Rochester was the Mayo Clinic. However, Booking.com did not give us the Mayo discount, don't know if that's possible through Booking.com. There is a Mayo discount with Home2Suites. Rochester has some very nice restaurants.

Rochester is arguably the most important medical city in the US if not the world. People come from all over the world for treatments at the facilities in Rochester. It is a melting pot on any given day. Rochester was a very good place we were there for the Mercy Clinic for a family member. Everyone was very nice friendly helpful that was my first visit ever for me and my family the restaurants were great outstanding number I can give him 10 out of a 10 everywhere we went to eat at we will be coming back again it's not always great visits for what you're there for but it's how the people and places and businesses treat you thank you very much.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

A number of places we wanted to try were closed (Mayo Civic Center and Silver Lake Paddle), so we didn't get to do some of the things we had really wanted to do. We did get to go to Apache Mall, and eat at Star Ocean Buffet. It's a beautiful restaurant and they have a great selection of food.
