We loved the Cowgirl museum (free!), Botanical gardens (free!), and Governor’s mansion (free!). Walking around downtown was nice and we had a delicious lunch from the truck, “Noam’s table” which is parked at the Depot ( felafel and other delicious and filling fare). Everyone at the museums was very helpful and friendly.

Cheyenne was great, a wonderful place to visit. We took the scenic ride to the Medicine Bow national forest. What's not to like about any place in Wyoming. There are a wide selection of restaurants. We visited the Cheyenne Biotanic Gardens. It is a great place to view many plants, trees and flowers. Pleasant and peaceful surroundings. I tried to put the sheets on, they were the wrong size. I called back down and someone brought clean sheets in the correct size. It was a last minute booking and very reasonable. Once I see clean on previous reviews, I don't mind booking. The bathroom was absolutely spotless clean so we felt comfortable immediately. Guy on reception gave us list of local restaurants and good information on downtown. For the price I would stay here again.
