I loved the Monday afternoon farmers market.
I loved the Monday afternoon farmers market. We did not like our dog could not go on the beach. Fin's pizza is the best. It is easy to get around Tybee, but you do need to pay attention to the one way streets.

Tybee Island was once a fantastic getaway destination.
Tybee Island was once a fantastic getaway destination. However, in recent years, the influx of tourists, children, and partygoers has diminished its charm. With each visit, we notice a decline, and I hope measures can be taken to reverse this trend. On a positive note, Skampy's offers excellent food conveniently located near the beach.
While Tybee Island offers beautiful beaches, a lighthouse, and good dining options, there seems to be limited additional activities. It's ideal for a day trip, but may not provide enough entertainment for an extended stay.

Tybee is by far the most down to earth friendly people I have ever met. I never felt uneasy anywhere on the island nor did I ever see or hear of anything bad going on. The views are stunning. The food is delicious. You truly feel like a local when your there. My only complaint about the whole island in general was the parking fees, of course you can just walk or ride bikes. I may be bias because where I live there is non anywhere remotely close to me. But at one point we went to north beach which has a HUGE parking lot and there was like 3 cars including mine in it and to pay for parking for a 30 min walk before we drove home kind of sucked but I don't know how strict they are I never seen anyone check but I am a honest person so I paid my part. With all the things to do on Tybee and how wonderful of an experience it is something as simple as parking fees should not detour you in the slightest! I HIGHLY recommend giving Tybee a visit, and visit they lighthouse and museums while your there. You will thank me later :)

Stayed one night but was able to walk the beach which is across the street from The Dunes hotel and a block to the beach. Picked up some shells but forgot to bring my bag so only got a handful. There were big waves as the tide was coming in. The restaurant Sting Ray’s had awesome food. It rained overnight and in the morning so I started home early. Couldn’t do anything in the rain which was disappointing but mother nature had other plans for the day.
What I seen of the Island I would have liked to spend more time there.

one of the best kept secrets in the country.
one of the best kept secrets in the country. Not bust in the off season, east to access food and activities, easy ride in from Savannah. VERY clean
We ate several times at HUC A Poos and we love the Crab Shack
We love the separate service for those allergic to sea food.

Tybee is a quiet little island with very beautiful views.
Tybee is a quiet little island with very beautiful views. The people are very friendly. The lLght House was just amazing. Also the travel to Savannah was so close that we were able to visit everyday. The Paula Dean restaurant was delicious.
The property was very conveniently close to the beach. From my balcony I could see the ocean and all the cargo ships coming in and out. This property is also very close to the lighthouse. We could see the top of the lighthouse from the front door balcony. Which was lit up at night. It’s beautiful! The lighthouse is also just a bike ride away. We really enjoyed the ease of riding bikes on Tybee Island. The bike routes are very well laid out. Very enjoyable and convenient.
The pool was great and the proximity to resturants and the beach and pier were good. The rooms were clean but small. The beds were small. I thought the mattress was comfortable but my wife didn't. It was a cheap room and for me that's what counts. I'm just gonna sleep there anyway.
Large home, very comfortable, easy walk to the beach. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy the salt air. Tybee Island is such a great place, and is a place I'd highly recommend when you go. Even met the neighbors, who were kind and willing to show us around if we wanted.
Adequate parking on hotel property, convenient location on the beach with a heated pool available too. Breakfast was good and better than I expected for a continental breakfast. Bed and pillows were so comfortable! Staff was very helpful before and during my stay.
It is old hotel but they did keep it clean but could use some Renovations and cleaning it more cleaning as in the breezeway but staff was okay the rooms were kept clean and it's right in the middle towards downtown area of Tybee Island
Beach and restaurants were easy to access within walking distance.sky suites was ok the room was big enough property was clean. Nice pool on site but I am a beach person so we spent most of our time there which was a few minutes walk
I love how friendly the staff is. They helped us with anything we needed and always asked if we needed anything else. I love that the hotel is on the beach and has a deep history on the island and has stayed here through the years.
Location is the best part by far. You can walk across the street to the beach and it is right at the Tybee Pier near downtown. Parking was free which was also huge because the publications lots for beach access are expensive.
The proximity to the beach was good and that is about it for positives for this hotel. There was a walkway through the dunes from the hotel and a shower to wash off the sand as you returned.
Great Location & Within walking distance of the beach. The area felt safe and secure. There are many resturants and shops near by. The staff was very nice and responsive through emails.
