A real "find", though I wouldn't want to look for it after dark. In retrospect, I wish I'd booked 3 nights and used the ranch as my base for exploring the San Juan Mountains area. This might be the prettiest part of Colorado. The host, Frank Gouder, is a very interesting man with a range of different business and life experiences over the years in both the US and Europe. He is a true "Renaissance Man". He added an extra dimension to what was already a very enjoyable stay. Hope I make it back some day.

The bed and breakfast was excellent. Frank, our host, was very welcoming and a great cook. Our omelettes both mornings were fantastic. It felt like we were visiting with friends. It’s a little bit out of town but that is what makes it even better. It’s a beautiful 20 acre ranch, 20 minutes from Montrose. I would definitely stay here again.

  • How far are you from Elk Mountain Resort? We are attending a party there. My daughter and I would love two separate beds please for July 7 and departing on July 10th am. Thanks!!!

  • There are 3 adult women traveling together. Can one person sleep on the sofa? It says this room only accommodates 2 but another place says 3.
    Hi there, the Eagles Nest is possible for 3 people. 1 king bed & 1 sleeper sofa between full and queen. Room price for 3 people 240 / night. We also could offer a other option.
