United States of AmericaIt was a wonderful time. Everyone was great.. was welcomed with a basket of goodies from management telling me and my best friend to have a great and enjoyable stay. They accommodated our request to be higher (had read that lower levels can be noisy) no issues. Facility was old.. NOT in a bad way. It had history and charm!! Close to everything.. and everyone was willing to help if questions came up. Fabulous time.. fabulous adventures.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
United States of AmericaThe location in the theater district is super for seeing shows. It is also close to many fine restaurants that you can walk to. It is close enough to Rockefeller center to walk if you enjoy walking. We also walked to Columbus Circle and on up to the American history museum. Aside from that, the staff is great and the room was really nice.

United States of AmericaAll staff was friendly, except bell hops outside... Hotel was dated but the location was perfect. Beds were awesome! Lots of fast elevators! Great security! Check in was busy but got a room eight away, check out was fast and done the night before we left. Room service was exceptional... If I get to go back to NYC we will stay there again!

Everyone from the maids, security, front desk, phone operators and servers went out of their way to be helpful, kind, pleasant and fun. The large bank of elevators were great in moving large crowds to and from their rooms. Friedman’s restaurant has a nice happy hour and good food. The rooms are roomy and clean and the beds are comfortable. Great location that is close to everything.

One of our top picks in New York.Ideally located in Times Square, this Manhattan hotel has been around since 1930. With distinct influences of the Art Deco era in the design of the lobby and the exterior, Hotel Edison offers Classic and Signature rooms and suites.
Each room and suite features flat-screen cable TV. The private bathrooms are equipped with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Air conditioning is also included.
The Hotel Edison in Manhattan offers concierge service, 24-hour business and fitness centers and a transportation desk. The Edison Ballroom provides event space. Room service is available for limited hours.
The Rum House, featuring a copper and wood themed design, is only a minute away from Edison and offers live entertainment on occasion. The on-site restaurant, Bond 45 serves a vegetable antipasto bar and a menu that includes veal chops and seafood. Friedman's, the restaurant that has "Eat good food" as their mantra, is also open in the Edison.
