Affordable, helpful, caring, fun and relaxing best place to stay with a great local location to everything you'll need.
The options of room styles and cabins options was the hardest decision about the hotel, but I love that this hotel has many options depending on your family or party during your vacation. The hotel staff service is attentive and resposive." With inviting Smiles and very helpful with location information and things to do or places to visit during our stay with their hotel.
The perfect way to begin our stay.

"The room was very clean. It is worth mentioning." "Comfortable bed with four pillows" They had all the comforts of home. They offer a waffles, coffee, tea along with a few other items. "The mountain views is breathtaking early morning. At night a little campfire like setting with lights and chairs for a easy setting for songs and marshmallows as you wind down for the evening with family and other guest. Perfect way to end the day. As a local myself and knowing other hotels around Jackson this is the best overall hotel.

We enjoyed the Deluxe Bungalow during our stay over Thanksgiving. The room was warm and cozy. We were able to have a complete dinner in the room as it has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room table. We also enjoyed the fireplace and deck. The new owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were a little slow on responding to request, but always came through. I highly recommend this establishment.

The room was not clean including the bedding. They moved us to another room that was a little cleaner but the shower had problems. The nob that turns the water on was not put on right so it kept falling off.

Cute little historic town, seems there are more shops and restaurants open on weekends, and most things close around 4 or 5pm - even the ice cream shop!
Eat at Saluti's if you like Italian. Eat at La Esmeralda if you like Mexican, don't let the shopping center location deter you!
Next drive into Amador City.... very cute! But definitely on the Fri-Sun!!

Bed was small, will request a different room next time. Very nice room but I'm a big guy and the bed wasn't a Queen. Mel's Diner across the hwy was as good as it gets. Old town never disappointed with the shops and the walk.

Lots of fun little shops to go into in the historic downtown area. Friendly people and it was easy to get around. Also had a good abundance of thrift stores to poke around in too. For a small town it also had some bigger stores like Ace Hardware, Joann's, Grocery Outlet, that we weren't expecting to see, especially so close to the historic downtown. Wish we had more time to go to the mines and the historic graveyard. Guess those will be for next time.

Thank you receptionist Holly for ALL your kind assistance & see you again for our Anniversary !!
We like to stay at this hotel before going to Kirkwood ski resort.
1 hour to Kirkwood, perfect breakfast (waffles (with addons), sausages, juice, muffins, cereals, milk, apple, orange, coffee, tea, hot water).
Clean, good wifi in building B (sorry, i didn't check another buildings)
We asked to change the room(due to noise above us), no issues, 10 minutes and we are in another room.
Denny's in 1minute walk for dinner.
Beautiful old hotel, gorgeously renovated. Brand new elevator. Seemed very dedicated to accessibility. Friendly staff. I loved all the artwork and "ghost" ambiance. The bar downstairs had just opened, and the bartender was super lovely to us. Room had a gorgeous bathroom. View of the town was cool. The breakfast in the morning had a good amount of options and went until 10am on the weekend, which I thought was nice.
I TRAVEL RARELY DUE TO A BACK ISSUE WHEN SLEEPING ON FIRM MATTRESSES. I WAS VERY WORRIED ABOUT MY STAY THERE AS I TYPICALLY DONT SLEEP- HOWEVER THE BED WAS NOT AS FIRM AS OTHER HOTELS IN THE AREA THAT IVE STAYED AT- SO THANKFULLY I DIDNT SLEEP TO POORLY- STAFF WAS SUPER FRIENDLY. EVERYTHING WAS ORGANIZED WELL- ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN- I GOT A ROOM ON THE CORNER SO I HAD A HUGE BALCONY TO MYSELF. OVERALL VERY PLEASED.
They're nice comfortable room it's not real modern looking but it's very comfortable and spacious. When I got up in the morning to shower I actually got hot water and a good shower the owner/manager is very friendly and helpful if you need him it's just an all-around nice place to stay I've stayed there four times now and won't go anywhere else even though Holiday inn is right down the street
Because of severe weather, I make a two-day reservation at the last minute. I fell in love with the property from the moment I walked in. It's absolutely beautiful. It feels like walking back in time with the original paintings and period furniture. It's a hotel with a lot of personality. The rooms are small, but clean. They combine the best of the Old West with modern comforts.
We stayed at the Jackson Rancheria to attend a family gathering and the location was convenient for our event. The hotel lobby was clean and the employees were friendly. There was plenty of close parking and even when the parking directly in front was filled, there is a nearby overflow lot. There is a nice pool/hot tub area with tables for socializing.
Excellent place to stay to get transported into the old times of the golden rush era. The hotel was beautiful, right on the historical high street, kept the old look, very comfy and the staff was so lovely. Would make a detour to stay there!
Old, charming hotel right in the town center. There is available parking near the building. Room was ok and it was clean. Breakfast was ok as well, and there was some variety (yoghurt, bread, bagel, granola).
The location is easy to find. The hotel is very close to downtown historic Jackson although not really walkable. There is a Denny’s in the same parking lot. That might be a benefit for grabbing a bite to eat.
The room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was plenty of hot water and some very nice bath towels. We will return to Jackson Lodge whenever we come to town!
The entire experience met expectations. Parking for the hotel was great. Room was spacious for 2 people. Loved the step in shower. Room temperature was comfortable.
charming old hotel with a lot of atmosphere. rooms are clean and nicely furnished. despite all the entries in the guestbook we experienced no ghost activities- smile
