United States of AmericaFirst and for most, property and staff were wonderful. Great views and access to the beach....staff amazing. The woman helping us went over and above:-). Food was delicious (complimentary breakfast with homemade baked goods & dinner was grab and go). There is also inside and patio dining on certain nights. We stayed in the "hideaway" and it was quaint with no view. Needs a bit of updating (furniture/decor). Unfortunately, hard to block the "all night" light outside so a bit hard to sleep. We enjoyed our 2 nights.
United States of AmericaElk Cove Inn is in a magical location, and I had a spacious, lovely room with a magnificent ocean view. There were many nice touches of a traditional B&B, like a welcome basket with wine and snacks, lots of reading material, tons of places to sit and take in the scenery. The breakfast included was a delightful surprise. But the real standout of this property is the welcoming, friendly service of the staff -- just so appreciated at the end of a long travel day.

The view of the cove from our room, especially at sunset, and the easy walk to the beach, made for the most romantic and special overnight trip. We also loved that the inn was dog friendly (even though we didn't bring a dog). Thank you to the thoughtful staff and brilliant chef!
