The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. The location was close to Knoebels and other events. The house was clean, comfortable and has old world charm. A hearty Breakfast was provided. Price was reasonable. We will definitely recommend this place!

The house is clean and comfortable. You definitely get the rural Pennsylvania feel staying here, but are only 15mins from Knoebel's, Bloomsburg, and Danville. We stayed in the Landscape room and it was large and plenty of room for two adults and one or two kids. The bathroom was very large as well. The breakfast was phenomenal! If you stay and the proprietors, Frank and Diana, are making French toast and breakfast potatoes, be sure to order those! The eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly as well! The owners are very hospitable and definitely want to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible, and you really feel like you are staying at a home rather than a hotel.

  • i have a work team of 3 young men in the Mt Carmel area on Wed,will be aat the Kights of Columbus with our food truck for a fundraiser,We need aroom for Weds night only.I believe B&B are usually for couples but i see you have a twin bed offer.Can you accommodate,

The Fish & Loaves B & B is affordable family style lodging in the rolling hills of Susquehanna Valley. Our rustic setting features five bedrooms with beautiful scenery from nearly every window. Three single queen rooms, one double queen room, and a full suite are available on two floors. The first floor bath is private while second floor bath is common. All second floor guests receive a complimentary bathrobe for the duration of their stay. We treat all our valued guests like extended family, starting with a hearty home-cooked breakfast every morning. We offer multiple choices from a daily breakfast menu and we'll accommodate special needs diets as necessary. If you're a morning person that loves to converse, be prepared for lively breakfast table banter! Otherwise, your hosts will typically be available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM to meet your needs and answer questions. Please note that small pets are permitted but that arrangements must be made in advance. There are family pets on the premises. The onsite Fish & Loaves Center is also home to the Catawissa Coffee House - - a Christian venue that periodically features local artists and performers.
Engineer and empiricist by training and Christian Innkeeper by choice. If you're looking for a relaxing retreat far from the madding crowd, then follow the country roads of Catawissa to The Fish & Loaves Bed and Breakfast!
Our region is also famous for its Farm Markets, Antique Shops, and family oriented attractions and eateries. Local attractions include Knoebel's Family Amusement Park, only 12 minutes away. Knoebel's is nationally recognized for its wooden roller coasters and better-than-boardwalk food selections. Admission and parking at Knoebel's are free. Only 11 minutes away is the Rolling Hills Red Deer Farm with acres of European Red Elk that may be hand-fed from a hay-ride wagon. For racing enthusiasts, the Numidia Drag Strip is less than mile away. Rohrbach's Farm Market and Gift Shop and Ponduce Farms feature full schedules of family-friendly shopping and events!
