Even though we arrived very late, we were met and all the staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Parking is easy. The rooms was very clean, the bed comfortable and the provided shampoo and body wash was very nice.

    Our room rates are $139-$185 per night plus tax. Those rates include homemade afternoon snacks and a home cooked breakfast each morning. Each room has a private bathroom, TV and access to wi-fi.

    We are a Bed and Breakfast with individual guest rooms in our Inn. We do not have cabins or outdoor hot tubs.

    We are located about five miles from the Hawg Pit in Grafton. Elsah is located right off the Great River Road between Alton and Grafton.

    Anyone can purchase a ticket to go on the Grafton Sky Tram. You do not have to stay at their property to use the Sky Tram.

Green Tree Inn is located in the quaint historic village of Elsah, IL. The entire Village is located on the Historic Register and was just voted the Most Scenic Spot in Illinois. Each guest room features a private bathroom, TV, free Wi-Fi, and high end amenities including Turkish Towels and Comphy Sheets. Rates include a homemade afternoon snack and delicious home cooked breakfast each morning. Guests have access to a full kitchen and a common area stocked with water, soda, tea and coffee. Guests also have access to a screened in porch and a garden area with seating.
Gary and I fulfilled our lifetime dream of owning a Bed and Breakfast when we purchased Green Tree Inn in June, 2012. We love getting to know our guests over breakfast. I love to cook and see our guests enjoy my cooking. We are happy to offer recommendations for restaurants and things to see and do in our area. Gary loves to go antiquing and to auctions. We offer an on-site antique room for our guests to shop and take home a treasure.
Green Tree Inn is located right off the Great River Road between Alton and Grafton, IL. You can enjoy all the restaurants and activities in Alton and Grafton and then return to the peacefulness of the Village. Stroll thru our village or borrow our bikes to take a bike ride along the bike trail beside the Mississippi River. We are also located 45 minutes from the St. Louis Airport and Downtown St. Louis, MO.
