We loved the well cared for property,inside and out. Lovely period furnishings-creaky floors and all, but with all the modern conveniences at your disposal. Appreciated the considerate extra touches-fresh popcorn in the popcorn machine and coffee and tea upon arriving. Slept great in a comfy, warm room and woke up to enjoy delicious, hearty breakfast with fellow guests at a beautifully set table. We'll be back.

Beautiful Victorian B&B. Modern amenities in a historical setting. Clean and comfortable. Highly rated. Family Friendly. Free breakfast cooked from scratch each morning. Gluten free and vegetarian friendly. Steps from craft beer, gourmet pizza and live music and the Shuler Theater! Train and bus, popular eateries, museum, theater and shopping, all in the Historical Townsite. Ask about the walking trails and Disc golf. 8 miles to the lake.
Our kids grew up and we said, "What do we know how to do?" Fix things, cook and host! We felt so blessed to find this remarkable B & B already thoughtfully and loving restored by Barbara, just as she retired, and we were looking for a new adventure! We have worked in fine dining, the Postal Service and home renovation as well as community and family support in Denver. We love Raton and think it is the best place to live and visit! Sofia was born in Walsenburg and her grandfather was raised in Laveta Colorado. Jason was born in Colorado Springs. "Little Bear" is the greeter, and he is a very cute little Shitsu-Poodle.
We have the best neighbors, churches on all the other corners, walking distance to dinning, theater, museum, shopping, library, lake Maloya and Sugarite State Park, restaurants, train & bus.
