The breakfast was very nice on two days, then on Wednesday, they did not have sausage or biscuits. The room is nice, although small. Fortunately the adjoining patio was sufficiently large. It should have propane heaters in cool weather, but it was fine during our stay.
The lobby is attractive and suits the mountain location very well.
Our window could be opened. That's always a nice option. The heater and A/C unit worked and was quiet.
The room had lots of floor space for our duffle bags filled with just-in-case-of snow (and snowshoeing) winter clothing. But no table for eating a snack or sharing a map. The chairs were truly comfortable, as was the bed.

Fell in love with the location and I want to go back. Sad to leave, but all good things with a vacation come to an end. I am glad I stayed central to the town. Loved the local art gallery and artist there.

Beautiful tiny city in a short ride to Yosemite, amazing and friendly locals always ready to help. don't forget to bring the chains if you travel to Yosemite. Stores in the area could be short of tire chains of the price won't make you happy.

Oakhurst is just 16 miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite. That entrance is closest to the Mariposa Grove of Big Trees. The Valley and waterfalls are another 45 minute drive. Oakhurst has a great selection of restaurants, antique stores and friendly people. The selection of rooms is less expensive and easier to book than Yosemite. During the season, there is also YARTS bus system taking visitors to Yosemite (there is a fee). This makes it easier so you don't have to fight traffic, search for parking or have a park reservation.

The place was not quiet.
The place was not quiet. On the second night there were people next door and I could almost hear them breathe. Plus I booked two nights based on the "reduced rate" of $79 but was then billed for extras. I would not have booked this had the cost been up front. Shame on Booking.com for not being transparent. When I complained to Booking.com I was told there was no refund. I wont book either of them again.

30 minutes from the hotel to the national park entrance
It takes about 1 hour and 20" from the entrance to the center of the national park.
Excellent location for a stay over to or from Yosemite.
Great homemade breakfast with fresh omelet and blueberry pancakes.
Great view from the quadruple room (the Garden Rose).
Nice and clean pool and pool area.
Nice little terrace with a table and two chairs outside the Country Rose.
Good recommendation by the host to visit nearby Bass Lake for evening drinks and dinner.
Very modern, clean, spacious and comfortable room. Very comfortable beds, but this is always very subjective. I like a hard bed. These very a bit on the soft side, but still comfortable.
Oakhurst is becoming more than a stopover place, with plenty of restaurants, shops and hotels. We found a really good mexican restaurant called Plazuelas.
We were surprised by the size of the accommodation - it was like having your own apartment, with lots of room to hang out. I wish we had had time to finish our jigsaw puzzle! Everything in the unit was well thought-out, and Jennifer was a thoughtful and responsive host. convenient to Yosemite, and Oakhurst has lots of amenities.
lovely inn, very few guest rooms, a quiet place in a quiet town. Perfect spot as “base camp” if you’re visiting Yosemite NP. Well cleaned, well maintained, staff is super friendly. If you don’t care about being served breakfast, it beats every hotel chain in Oakhurst. Super recommended!
Better looking than most motel 6 by far. Beds were on the noisy side. Shower stall retained the water no shower head but lots of water pressure so. I didn't pay top dollar yet this place didn't look like a cheap rundown hotel. The look was that of a studio. Very nice place to stay at.
The Villa is fantastic and ideal for a family. Near to the town of Oakhurst to get provisions. We spent our evenings looking at the stars and drinking wine! If California was on the doorstep to us as is France we would definitely return here for a longer break.
The scenery at the location was great. The proximity to Yosemite's south entrance and eateries at Oakhurst was excellent too. The continental breakfast was tasty and and an energetic start to the day. Wifi and other facilities including coffee were good too.
The hotel is gorgeous and the facilities were brilliant! It’s a lovely quiet location about a 20 minute drive to the the entrance of Yosemite park and 10 minutes from Oakhurst town. The staff were very accommodating & I would definitely stay here again!
The Oakhurst Lodge is perfect for a visit to Yosemite. Easy access to the room, comfortable bed, accommodating staff, vaulted ceiling in the room, and car park right outside our room. We will stay here again!
It was very nice... pool was nice as well. Staff was super friendly and helpful. One of the best thing about this hotel is the restaurant Oakhurst Grill and Whiskey Bar! It was great food and incredible staff!
Very well located within the town and only 15 minutes from the South Yosemite National Park. Supermarkets and places to eat very near the hotel. I recommend it when visiting Yosemite and the area.
It’s a brand new hotel with an excellent location, just 20 min away from Yosemite National Park entrance, close to restaurants and stores, super convenient stay, definitely will be back there
Hotel located near the south entrance of Yosemite, with a reasonable price for its situation. The rooms are well equipped and have everything you may need. Good to spend one night.
The hotel is conveniently located on the southern entrance road to Yosemite. It's rather family-friendly. The room was quite spacious. Breakfast was fresh and correct.
Staff were amazing and friendly.
Perfect location if you’re planning to go to Yosemite.
Oakhurst just 5 mins down the road.
Room was stunning.
Loved the kitchen.
