Rooms were modern and clean. The breakfast was much better than expected. In addition to the usual economy hotel continental breakfast, they made eggs and sausage on order, had sausage gravy and biscuits and a waffle machine. Plus, in addition to the usual cornflakes and raisin bran, they had granola.

I stayed in several hotels and definitely will recommend staying at this hotel for anyone go to Bosque del Apache. The rooms are big, comfortable, clean, and quiet for your nightly stay. The breakfast starts at 5:30 AM so you wouldn't miss the bird blastoff show before sunrise.

The fridge was clean, worked well and ran very quietly. The entry door seals were intact & functional; I often encounter entry doors that allow light & unconditioned air to leak by, but not this time!

United States of AmericaHaving stayed at the cheaper Red Roof Inn on our way to Texas, we decided to stay at the Econo Lodge on the way back home. We are so glad we did! This is a much nicer facility with more amenities. They gave us a room at the back of the property, so it was very quiet. The furnishings are modern and comfortable. The room was very spacious. Our two queen room could easily have accommodated a family of four. There was a table in the corner, a desk, fridge, microwave, etc. The bathroom and area for our clothes was separated from the entrance with a wall, which was nice. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh-cooked eggs and sausage, hot and cold cereal, hot and cold beverages, fruit, a waffle maker, yogurt, etc. The owners had Christian materials and magazines for lodgers in the lobby.
