It is just minutes from many racing attractions, including the North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame, JR Motorsports, Kasey Kahne Racing, Martin Truex Jr. shop, Memory Lane Museum and Raceworld USA. Lowe's Motor Speedway is 20 miles away. Guests can take a drive through the Lazy 5 Ranch exotic animal park, discover the outdoors on Lake Norman, offering sailing, boating, fishing, water skiing, swimming and much more. The area around the lake is nice for hiking, sunbathing and picnicking. Numerous shopping centers, entertainment venues, two large bowling centers (NorthCross Lanes At the Lake and George Pappas' Victory Lanes), golf courses and tennis courts can be found in the surrounding area. A variety of restaurants and cocktail lounges are also nearby, including several within walking distance of our hotel. This hotel offers many little extras and amenities, including free hot breakfast and free coffee, free wireless high-speed Internet access, free local calls, seasonal outdoor pool and exercise room. Airport transportation to and from the Charlotte Douglas International airport, 20 minutes away, is available for a charge through a local company.
