My partner and I loved this place. It's a converted historic home divided into suites with modern furnishings. With respect to the suites, there is ample space for more than two people. You can fit three or four people if you use the pull out couch bed. There is also a large kitchen for cooking, and the place is close to two convenience stores in case you need anything. Though, I do recommend a car if you want to venture outside of Hudson's main drag (Warren Street).

This was such a lovely stay, we were so impressed with the styling of the entire place. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and the showers were awesome. I also greatly appreciated that they had a small gym. You never find gyms in a place like this and having a place to be able to go and stretch after a long day was fantastic.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was very quiet (except for housecleaning vacuuming at 8:30 am). Bathroom, shower and toiletries were updated and in good condition.

well, a year ago I was in the dark driving thru pouring rain when I saw the light of the sign. I drove back out to a gas station, got out the ole laptop and made a reservation then drove back. And the rest is history. Steven is a very nice guy. I'm a fan of unlit places (seeing more stars is good for the soul) so this area (not far from Kinderhook is both dark, safe and convenient (Kinderhook is nearby.) I had been on the road, a nostalgia tour: Ithaca, Irving, Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Syracuse and the bed was the most comfy I slept on. However, to show there is a balanced view---my significant other prefers cotton sheets to...I dunno. Like I could tell.

It really is just as described.
It really is just as described. I was upgraded to a room downstairs and was very grateful for the ease in parking and moving things to the room. It was a cold, snowy time and I could imagine it is really beautiful with the gardens in full bloom and the creek running on a warm day. I'll love to experience it then too. In the meantime, it's a great winter spot for my work stay-overs.

Breakfast at the B&B was great!
Breakfast at the B&B was great! For a good meal Ca'Mea is always a good default choice (besides, it is open for lunch, which in Hudson is a big plus; and their wines are not outrageously expensive!). My wife had a deep tissue massage at Bodhi and she was very happy afterwards (and, believe me, she is not so easy to keep happy!). First night had dinner at Feast and Floret and the food was delicious! But make sure you know where are they going to seat you... We went nicely attired and they did not seat us in the elegant main dining room but in a not-so-elegant adjacent "patio" (inside, not outside). Not the best choice for a romantic dinner... We are moderately avid birdwatchers and did enjoy our birdwatching little adventures, just going around in the city, not even going into the countryside (no car, took the train from NY). Even saw a great crested flycatcher! And some goldfinches grabbing stuff for their nest (mostly the female while the male stood by...)

Warren Street has many restaurants and interesting shops. Many hidden gems off Warren as well. Interesting architecture. Most restaurants are farm to table. The city looks a little run down but has a great deal of charm.

Go to Hudson for at least 2-3 days. It's great for just an overnight trip, but you'll leave knowing there was so much more to see. Cutest boutiques, restaurants and bars all over the town, with any activity you could want nearby (swimming, hiking, cycling, skiing in the winter, winetasting, art galleries and outdoor exhibitions, you name it!).KristinUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

Accommodations at The Nest in Hudson were excellent and in the center of town. The town is a beauty is you appreciate tastefully designed eating and shopping experiences. The restored architecture of the original 18th and 19th century buildings is authentic, charming, and rewarding.

The 0wner was fabulous and very responsive to our needs related to sightseeing ,food and shopping. As well, she was an extremely warm, interesting and charming host. Our room, which was more like a suite, was comfortable, very clean, nicely furnished and a pleasure to come back to after a long day of being a tourist. We plan to return to Hudson and will certainly book the Hudson B and B again. Our stay was super!

Nautical Nest is located on a quiet side street right in the heart of everything so easy to walk everywhere. Lovely decor and super comfortable bed. Remote check in and communication from the owners was spot on. We were here for only one night but would stay here for an extended vacation. Hudson has a lot to offer with lots to see and do plus great places to eat.
