We really liked staying here. The room was very nice and cozy. I liked the idea of having a big variety of books in the room. Great experience. :)

Jack was very friendly and nice to know he was available with any needs, questions. loved the location, quiet charming side street, but close to Connecticut Avenue with shops, restaurants, CVS and Starbucks close by, etc....very short walk to the Zoo! We walked to dinner one night at Sababa, wonderful environment and especially the food

Staff is very friendly. Owner waited to meet me after official check-in hours (self check-in also available), helped with self service breakfast and overall offered any possible help. The room was clean and quiet.

Breakfast good, great location especially who would like to visit Smithsonian’s zoo.

Jack went out of his way to communicate with me personally to accommodate my parking needs! He also provided a yummy home-cooked breakfast in the morning. The room was clean, comfy, and well-lit. An overall great experience!!

Breakfast was great! It was a full breakfast with a variety of things to choose from, eggs, bacon, hash brown, cereal, fruit etc. The host, Jack was very warm and welcoming. I felt at home immediately on arrival when he offered me home made cookies and some wine! Very nice touch. The location is great, just one metro stop to Dupont Circle Station where I had an appointment. Overall, an awesome experience! I hope to stay there again when I'm in DC!

Great service! Jack is definitely one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Made my wife and I feel right at home from the time we walked through the door! We will definitely be back!!

Jack is a fantastic and welcoming host - when I arrived he offered coffee and home made cookies, and had upgraded my room to an en suite with same price. Location is superb, central, quiet, just near Rock Creek Park for morning walk. Great breakfast, and choice of books in the room.

I like the hosting was amazing , you feel like home and Jack you are the best very friendly and amazing person. My daughter says ‘Thankyou for the story book you allowed me to have it Jack you are Awesome’ Nice place to be!

Excellent value, very friendly staff, clean, functional!
