After an extensive renovation beginning 2017 and ending in September of 2018, we opened our doors just in time for the popular ski season in Lake Tahoe. We cater to the guests looking for a simple check-in experience, utilizing WiFi locks rather than physical keys. Think of it as a hands-off BnB experience, perfect for a solo getaway or a couples' retreat to reset and refresh.
Lakeside Suites Hotel California Lake Tahoe is near a handful of world-class ski resorts, and attracts an international clientele throughout the year as Tahoe offers many activities year-round. You'll love the location, as we are located within a block or two of eclectic coffee shops, lakeside grills, sushi, pizza, and more. Don't miss the highly-rated mini golf which is just as fun for adults as it is for kids! One of our personal favorites is Jason's Beachside Grill with its vast selection of local beer and cuisine. If you're looking for a no-compromise dining experience, Gar Woods Grill & Pier in Carnelian Bay is worth the beautiful ten minute drive along the shoreline. Try the crab cakes!
All of our hosts live in nearby Reno, NV. With a hospitality background, we provide the amenities you need and the independence you desire with fully furnished, electronically accessed units. We do have live-in security on the premises for your safety, although Lake Tahoe is considered to be extremely safe and pleasant.
Our neighborhood is situated within an exceedingly walkable area of North Lake Tahoe in the King's Beach district. Amazing shops, dining, entertainment and of course Lake Tahoe all are within just steps of your room. Safeway and Starbucks are only a few minutes away by foot, and Crystal Bay is a quick five minutes away by car if you crave 24/7 entertainment, casino gaming, and drinks. Uber and Lyft are often available in the area, and the locals are very friendly.
