United States of AmericaThis was the 3rd hotel we stayed at in the area and I have to say I was impressed! The staff didn't try to price gouge me, nor were they rude. The room was lovely and the amenities were pretty nice. It also didn't stink of rot or have damaged furniture like one of the other locations we stayed at.

My son demagnetize the key card and the front desk lady was very helpful and gave us 2 new cards. They also allowed me to do early check in at 10am which was very helpful as we were coming in from out of state.

United States of AmericaI have to mention this first as I was really impressed. There is a small indoor pool and hot tub here. We’ve been traveling across the country during the spread of the delta Covid variant and this is the first place where we could use the pool. This is because they were booking it one room at a time. You would reserve the pool for an hour. This was so great and thanks for implementing this! It was nice to finally have a swim after a hot day of driving. Hotel was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly. Breakfast was the usual cheap American chain hotel fare so not great, but no worse than anywhere else. Nice convenient location. This was one of our “breaks” from driving and spent two nights here so we could see Starved Rock and some other parks. But also close to the freeway to be on our way. North Joliet seemed nice. I guess some other parts can be a bit dodgy but this area seemed like a safe bedroom community.

United States of AmericaStaff was wonderful. Carpeting in room was worn and had many stains, although the surface appeared to have been as clean as worn carpeting can be. Refrigerator froze our food and there was no temperature control. The refrigerator in our first room did not cool and was replaced and we had no coffee maker. Someone above us flooded their bathroom and we moved to another room. Staff was very accommodating to our expressions of concern. Other than the carpeting, the room was immaculately clean.
