Staff was polite and welcoming, very accommodating as I had accidentally booked smoking but preferred non-smoking room. This is a quaint little motor lodge straight out of the 50s, right down to the physical key on a diamond shaped keychain just like I remembered as a kid. What we loved best was that even though it was right on a busy street with a school right across the road it was quite quiet. We felt safe and appreciated that it was affordable. Great location for us after our evening at the Hollywood Bowl, less than 30 minutes away. The entire room was clean and had that freshly cleaned smell to it as we entered.

I stayed at this motel for a one-day music fest at Brookside by the Rose Bowl. The location from the venue as well as the price was well worth it. By my estimation the Rose Bowl venue is about 5-7 minutes away by Uber/Lyft depending on traffic.

It was 2 blocks from my dad's auto repair in the 1970s. I walked from here and visited several friends. The bed seemed too firm, but my back felt great in the morning, so 100%. I really liked the low price. Bathroom was vintage but cute and the shower head was high like I like it because I'm 6'1".

For starters this place is exceptionally clean. I have stayed here once before, and witnessed the staff cleaning the rooms- while I was checking out.... beyond thorough. The air conditioning is cold. There is a microwave, and fridge. Direct T.V. , with good channels, & on demand. Lots of mirrors. Bungalow style rooms. Quiet. Staff is friendly. Location is great. And it is the single, number 1 cheapest place in the area- which all things considered would equate to great value!! (Also, they only require a deposit for the key- which is $5-$10, refundable at check-out.) (Free wifi too)
