This is the place to get away from it all. On a lightly traveled road, a couple miles either way will give you access to the lake or river. Hills, trees, woods, and other small cabins and houses on acreage are around. Largest town (with a Walmart and chain restaurants) about 20-30 minutes away. Dollar General, 1 minute away. Situated so far from light pollution that you can see thousands of stars on a clear evening. In terms of setting, it's important to note that The Retreat at Longbow is situated in a rural area. While this is a key part of its charm, it may offer a different pace if you're used to urban environments. The cabin is easily accessible, located off of a lightly traveled state route and on a private road that intersects off of it. No 4-wheel drive is necessary to reach us. Although the cabin is close to these roads, they are not busy, ensuring a peaceful stay. The Retreat is one of two cabins on a spacious 20-acre property, sharing the land with The Hammock House, which is situated at a distance to maintain a sense of privacy.
