Both Cliff and Donna are experienced Hosts who know how to welcome their guests while providing an beautiful location. The breakfast was extremely delicious and in particular was how helpful they both were. One example was our desire to find a place to eat that we would enjoy, knowing that in high season, the reputable restaurants are hard to find reservations for. Cliff knows everyone in the area, and so told us to call the restaurant and mention his name. We were immediately given a reservation by the owner/manager. If you are looking for an extremely quiet/private experience only 15 min from Bennington or 20 min from Manchester, we highly recommend Meadowbrook Farm.

    Yes, we have a room with twin beds. The room shares a bathroom with a queen bed room. You can have the room with the twin beds and the room with a queen bed for the same price as one room. Thank you for your inquiry.

    No. Our Farmhouse rooms have king beds. We have single rooms available in association with a king room booking.

    Yes, we have availability on Wed. Oct 7 and Thu. Oct 8 for a room with twin beds. Or two rooms one with twin beds and one with a queen. These rooms share a bathroom accessible from the hallway. We also have two king rooms with ensuite bathrooms.

Meadowood Farm offers elegant and spacious accommodations. Located between the Vermont towns of Bennington and Manchester, the Farm offers days of wonderful recreation, touring, shopping and evenings at casual or fine dining restaurants. The Farmhouse offers two antique-filled king bedrooms with private bathrooms and two bedrooms sharing a bathroom on the second floor in our Farmhouse. All bedrooms have a flat-screen TV and desks. The two Farmhouse rooms with private bathrooms accommodate two guests each. Additional guests can by housed in the extra bedrooms. Free wifi is available in all areas. On the second floor of our new addition, a spacious luxury suite is available on weekends; double occupancy only. The suite has efficiency cooking facilities and dining area, two rooms and TVs, massive king bed, and panoramic views from the picture window overlooking the Farm’s five-acre meadow, forest, and mountains beyond. All room rates include a full country breakfast each morning. Our breakfast consists of several courses; homemade muffins, fruit, sweet dishes, Meadowood Farm greens with egg entrees. We use our own maple syrup from our acres of maple trees.
The owners, Cliff and Donna, have been in the hospitality business for 17 years. Our Country Farm, is large enough to provide vacation rentals at reasonable rates, B&B, or a full-service Country Inn. The Farm is open for rentals from May through October. The Farm is a wonderful place during those months. Foliage is exceptional as there are over 300 maple trees on the Farm's 18 acres. With the cold winds blowing and the snow flying, the owners head for Florida’s west coast to spend the winter months fishing. Cliff worked as an Operating Engineer and Donna a Computer Systems Engineer. They have been married for 50 years, have two grown children; one in Lake Tahoe, California and the other in Reno, Nevada with two daughters. Before coming to Vermont in 1999, the owners lived in Saratoga Springs, NY. They retired from their 'regular jobs' to take on a large Inn near Manchester, VT. With 11 guest rooms, the Battenkill Inn was a tremendous undertaking. After five years they sold the Inn to purchase Meadowood Farm, a gentlemen's farm. After doubling the size of the home, Cliff and Donna started a Bed and Breakfast that has operated for fifteen years.
Meadowood Farm offers elegant and spacious accommodations. Located between the Vermont towns of Bennington and Manchester, the Farm offers days of wonderful recreation, touring, shopping and evenings at casual or fine dining restaurants. Meadowood Farmhouse is available for rental periods of 2 to 5 nights from May through December. The Farm is a wonderful place during those months. Spring and summer offer warm days and cool nights. Central air conditioning is available for warmer periods. Foliage is exceptional as there are over 300 maple trees on the Farm's 18 acres. Sugaring season occurs during March each year providing maple syrup for spring, summer, and fall breakfasts. By November and December snow is expected. The Farm has from three to ten free-range chickens that supply eggs for our guests. Due to the vulnerability of our chickens and livestock, only small dogs will be allowed at the Farm at a time. Horses may be boarded at a neighbor's stable. There are riding trails in the area.
