Tahoe Vista has been discovered. Traffic is challenging.
Tahoe Vista has been discovered. Traffic is challenging. Crowded. Come with plenty of patience. It's a tourist destination on beautiful Leke Tahoe. Not a relaxing place. But great if you like to hike and get away from the over crowded lakeside.

Nice little town in North Lake Tahoe.
Nice little town in North Lake Tahoe. Not as populated and not too many hotel casinos as South Lake Tahoe. I've been in South Lake Tahoe many times but if you're looking for a small town atmosphere, consider visiting the north side.

Location was nice.
Location was nice. However, the room was one of the worst I have every stayed in. It was not like any of the pictures on their website. The room was infested with ants, stove didn't work and the shower head was falling off the wall.

Tahoe Vista has one of the best beaches on Lake Tahoe, without the crowded atmosphere of the South Shore. It is our favorite location on Lake Tahoe and has been for many years. Spindleshanks Restaurant is fantastic for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are not enough stars to describe this great place. Spacious outdoor deck, fabulous service and amazing menu!

It is a very rustic lodge which is alright as long as you aren't expecting the same amenities like a chain hotel. It is comfortable but a hike to get to your room. If you have a car it is much easier because you can park on each level. They are remodeling the rooms and they are nice. I am a little more spoiled when it comes to hotels and like the bells and whistles that come with most hotels. You would be very comfortable here if you are an no frills person. I can't say enough about the staff they were very very helpful and friendly. I think a lot of the hotels in Lake Tahoe are older so this one seemed to he one of the nicer ones.
Cozy studio room complete with stove top and oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and kitchenware. Studio is spacious enough but could've been bigger. Walls have some frame displays which makes you feel being in a home. Restroom was clean and more modern compare to other hotels we stayed in. Rooms have a little front outside patio with chair which is a bonus and just few meters away from the lake. Would definitely consider going back if given the opportunity to visit North lake again in the future.
The hotel was very cozy. The pillows and mattresses were very comfortable. The whole room was very clean, we even had a fireplace which made the stay even better. Location is close to a few restaurants. You will literally just cross the street to reach the lake. It was contactless check-in/out but the staff were very responsive online. I will stay here again in the future.
Great spacious 3 bedroom house with an additional loft area. Good kitchen fully stocked with cooking supplies!
Bathrooms stocked with towels and other toiletries.
Extra blankets in bedrooms. Good heating inside and a fireplace available.
Lots of windows nice views, short walk to the lake. Nice, quiet neighborhood.
Very pet friendly! Great for our 2 dogs!
Cedar Glen Lodge was a perfect place for us to stay for a quick ski trip to Northstar. We booked a stand-alone cottage. It had everything we needed: very useable kitchen, comfortable living area with nice TV, clean and very nice bathroom, very comfortable bed. Everything was super clean and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended.
The communication via TXT, lots of seating on the beach, friendly staff, spacious room & kitchen, cookware/dishware provided, quality TV in the room with multiple entertainment options (blu-ray player, satellite TV, etc), the angle of the rooms toward the lake gives the feeling of individual residences rather than feeling like a hotel (HUGE PLUS).
Cutest little row of ski lodge/summer rentals on North Lake Tahoe. Our suite was up a flight of stairs and immaculate. Kailee helped us get set up with the kayaks and gear and even gave a grace period on returns since we arrived so late. Tahoe Vista is a well-preserved natural community. Absolutely beautiful.
The hotel’s location is very good, just walking distance to the lakeshore and only 1.5 miles from Kings Beach. The rooms are large and comfortable and very well equipped. The swimming pool is small but not busy and perfect for traveling with kids as there is a shallow area only 3ft deep.
A nice, quiet, contactless hotel on the north side of Lake Tahoe with the ability to get a room with an amazing lake view.
30 minutes away (by car) from Sand Harbor. Big enough free parking. The room has a fridge, a microwave oven, and a coffee machine.
Perfect for the one-night stay.
The room was very clean, and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. When I contacted the hotel regarding a lost item, the member of staff I spoke to was really helpful and got back to me after a couple of days to update me which was appreciated.
Amazing location, the hotel room was extremely spacious and the pool and jacuzzi were so nice to stay in. The communication between the host was really good and they answered all of our questions really efficiently.
Me and my friends loved everything about this hotel! We had a great stay!
It is right on the beach, room had beautiful view and everything we needed. Hot tub was really nice to have. We will come back😊
how close it is to the Lake, nearby everything, always had parking. the one bedroom was very spacious and very well equipped with the essential in the kitchen.
