Our home is located in an exceptionally quiet area of Lake Tahoe known as Meyers. Many of our immediate neighbors are 2nd homes, and the owners of those homes only visit occasionally, hence contributing to the quiet feel of the area. This area is also referred to as "Tahoe Paradise" as part of the developer name, back in the 1960's Little known facts include the fact that we have a formerly "private lake (Lake Baron) that for a couple of decades was a private lake only accessible to homeowners in Tahoe Paradise. The lake and adjacent river remain very quiet, even on the busiest weekends, and are a great place to visit. From a historical perspective, Meyers was Established in 1851, and started out as a stagecoach stop, trading post and Pony Express Station...!!
