Queens is more modern and you have plenty of choices for food. I'm an Asian and the food in Queens are little bit different than Chinatown so really depends on the preference. One thing I do notice are Queens has more Malls, big malls so is easy to shop for clothing. And also the hotel cost and parking are little bit cheaper than downtown. If you don't mind to take metro, Queens are good option.

The location was great and A train across from hotel. I wish I arrived 1 extra day to see Queens but we were there just 1 day and headed to Time Square. And in morning had to flight out for our trip. But the area near hotel was nice and looks to have local restaurants around area

Our flight was cancelled at La Guardia because of the heavy rain, many flights were cancelled, so local hotels/motels used that as an opportunity to raise their prices. We paid $335 for a dump that was just horrible. Sheets were dirty. Bedspread was dirty. Dirty Ashtrays were in the room so the place stunk of smoke. No smoke detectors. And NOISY. The people in the next room were so loud and it doesn’t help that the walls are paper thin. Avoid this place at all costs! Disgusting!

It also has the magnificient view of Manhattan on the rooftop and it deserves to be seen. Room was big enough, comfort for 2 adults + 2y.o. child, very clean and quite thanks to its view to the backyard. Location is perfect, hospitality is on top of the list. Breakfast is good, though it could be more variety of fruites.

Check in was a breeze thanks to Gorge who was definitely a service oriented guy. 5 stars for the check in and check out staff and Gorge in particular.
